Truly, the tipping point for Winter and I can expect her to finally put her inner feelings first! She will be deeply missed over the hiatus and as always, a beautiful job to @AboutElizabethM! Such powerful emotion in her voice! This bodes well for her development and I'm eager to see how she'll conquer her conflict. If she'd only follow her heart, the tremendous burden on her shoulders would be lifted. Winter is strong and I know she'll overcome this obstacle. I'd like to think Weiss is on her mind throughout this and she knows helping her friends is right. And on that note, @Kara4tx and @TheHowardWang, their exchange was simply amazing and brought me to tears! Can't wait to see more of the Schnee's next year!

Please let this be where Winter realizes Weiss and her family is still in Atlas and returns! Hopefully she feels inclined to leave the Ace Ops behind for the Schnee manor.

Always a blessed chapter when Elizabeth graces us with her lovely voice! Made my day seeing Winter again!  But will we ever see that rare smile once more!? She doesn’t look particularly thrilled about her task and it pains me when she looks so conflicted and distressed!

It's heartbreaking to see the sisters so conflicted and forced to oppose each other. Winter definitely knew Weiss would grow to become a great huntress, but couldn't possibly foresee their bond being put to the ultimate test. The confrontation is inevitable.

I do love this idea, in all honesty. After recovering, Winter could return to the manor to check on her mother and brother. Ironwood clearly has entered a downward spiral and has trust issues, potentially even with her we may see. Penny was the one who helped her come to terms with her inner feelings, and let her know it’s fine to put them first. Her fealty to him undoubtedly will crumble, thus giving her the freedom to take her leave from what was quite obviously another ‘controlling’ environment.

There will be an emotionally charged reunion for the siblings, I imagine— Winter, initially unfazed by Whitley’s words, slowly losing composure as they pierce...perhaps even breaking into tears. I’m here for it.

Winters hair style and clothing (at least in vol 2?? 3??? Idk when A Brawl In The Family happened) being similar to Willow's before she really fell apart is just.... You can see how much influence Winter took from her mother growing up. How much she probably looked up to her. It only makes it hurt a lot more when you realize that the person who probably taught Winter how to use the schnee semblance was Willow- and Winter running away was probably bc she had to get away from the pain of watching her mother, the person she looked up to her entire life, falling apart before her eyes.

But she came back for Weiss, to teach her just as Willow taught her, but was too late with Whitley. Unlike Weiss, he already resented her for leaving- and I don't think she blames him. I think she feels guilty but by completely divorcing herself from the family legacy, she can't make it right.
