Words have such power, such force. There are some things that I've heard, or read, that have left me forever different. So I collect words and try to string them together like pearls. My father instilled this in me. He would say quietly and reverently - "What a magnificent day to be alive." And he truly meant it. He said these words all through my life. He even continued to say them after he got cancer. So gather your pearls. Because Darlin' ~ it truly is a magnificent day to be alive.

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff. Life is bigger than that.
As a Human, words can't begin the express how conflicted this quote makes me feel - in the context of the great atrocities my loved ones & I have endured, yet kept our faith bright.
But as a Spirit, I know these difficult words are so very true. It all comes down to remembering this crucial fact...
... We are Spirits having a Human Experience - not the other way around. Perspective is everything.
.... But Karma is a stiletto wearing ass-kicking bitch that sets things right in the end too.
-- Quote attributed to Apj Abdul Kalam

Love is a many-splendored thing It's the April rose that only grows in the early spring Love is nature's way of giving, a reason to be living The golden crown that makes a man a king
Once on a high and windy hill In the morning mist two lovers kissed and the world stood still Then your fingers touched my silent heart and taught it how to sing Yes, true love's a many-splendored thing

Unforgettable Life Lessons We Learned As Kids From The Lion King
The Lion King might be 23 years old but the words of wisdom from the legendary movie still ring loud and clear in my head. It had so much to say. The writers shared their deepest insights through characters that felt like friends. The story was such an inspiring one. Even today, we hold the wisdom it taught in our hearts.

What’s the Difference Between Strength and Courage?
Courage comes from the French word “coeur” meaning heart. Being courageous means facing our fears and coming from our heart rather than our head. Its a place where we face our vulnerabilities and overcome them through compassion and love.

“You are allowed to be both a Masterpiece and a Work in Progress, simultaneously.” - Sophia Bush
MYTH:
Once we reach healing and enlightenment we stay at the top, always have the answer, feel happy always, never feel anxious or depressed, and are always the best example for everyone.
TRUTH:
We’re all a work in progress!
We all have strengths and weaknesses, we all have areas we’re working on.
We can feel strong one day, and crumble under the weight of a difficulty the next, and then find our bearing the day after.
This is normal! This is part of being a human being in transition!
Very few people in history have been able to achieve perfection mentally and spiritually.
It’s quite unrealistic to expect it of ourselves at all times!
Our task is to pick ourselves up when we are able to, dust ourselves off, and continue to think and act in a way which reflects our choices.
When we fall off track we can get back on again… the trick is to suspend judgement of ourselves, not to tear ourselves down mentally or it will be difficult to keep moving forward.
We can do this!
