Summer Reading Programs We are approaching our last weeks of school. Please return all library books and magazines to the Library by Monday, June 1. While our Library is not open during the summer months, please encourage and take your children to visit their public library during the summer, and sign up for the amazing activities each library offers. The Beverly Hills Public Library and the Los Angeles Public Library summer reading programs are entitled Read to the Rhythm. Join in the festivities and make summer reading fun for the entire family!

The Wildcats Award Dinner delivered with a bang! What an incredible evening it was for our athletes and their families. Thank you to chairs Negin Gabbayzadeh and Molly Ghalili, co-chairs Robert Herscu and David Siegel for organizing the event with the support of WPA Executive Board Members Sharen Golshan and Betza Soofer. Coach Ryan Hosler, we thank you for allowing us to be your partners in planning this event!
Congratulations to all our Pre-K Graduates! Special thanks to Alexis Lam for chairing the Pre-K Celebration, to co-chair Kathy Asil, to Christine Eberly for putting together the Pre-K Yearbook, and to Sharon Avisar and Mike Lam for creating what will no doubt be a very memorable DVD. Michelle Liberman, thank you for two years of remarkable leadership on the WPA Executive Board as VP of the Early Childhood.
Shout out to Negar Salim, Liat Siman, Neda Sarraf, Steven Foonberg and the entire K-6 yearbook committee for delivering an outstanding yearbook!

Library Book Awards Our Library Book Awards Assembly is fast approaching. The students who have completed their reading will be celebrated at our program on Tuesday, June 2, at 8:15 a.m. in Zeldin-Hershensen Hall. Families are invited!

CELEBRATING OUR TEMPLE COMMUNITY GARDENS AT STRAWBERRY MOON
Netiya, a non-profit for interfaith food justice in Los Angeles will honor Stephen Wise Temple for its environmental efforts during the Strawberry Moon Celebration. This is an incredible honor for our Pe'ah and Plaza Vegetable Gardens, as well as the many volunteers from the Wise School Sustainability Committee, Mitzvah Day, Camp Wise, and Freedom School, who sustained our gardens this year.
We’ve turned our Temple land into fertile gardens, feeding the homeless at the Valley Shelter and educating our children. Let’s celebrate our accomplishments with Rabbi Yoshi, great music, and good food. The Strawberry Moon Event, Stephen Wise Plaza, Saturday, May 30, 7:30 pm.
