who at first hoped she'd be a Witch but has an easier time using Fairy magic.

Got famous, before she came to Alfea. Uses her magic to let instruments play music composed by herself, whilst dancing along to her symphonies.

Nova, Fairy of Warming Lights

has always been one of Stella's closest friends.

Princess Krystal, Fairy of Glass

Helias younger sister. She's always been interested in potions and healing magic.

Does bloom’s ears change when she first transform? Or does she always have them? Because it would be hard to hide those from the mass public on earth due to fear and such

Daphne put a spell on Bloom when she brought her to Earth, to make her blend in. This spell breaks after Blooms first transformation into a Fairy. After that moment it's also very obvious where she is from and Faragonda has an idea that she might be the lost Princess, Melia of Domino. After that Bloom and the other Winx have to put the same spell on themselves when they go to Earth.

No worries about askin' questions - i'm always happy to answer, especially if it means i can share a bit more about my rewrite! :)

I feel very flattered to get a question like this, but i do not have a dedicated discord server.

However, i thought about starting a youtube channel, where i would post speed-drawings of my redesigns. But as of now it takes me embarrassingly long to draw anything (i probably just have to get back into it tho) and i don't really have enough time for that.

For now all i have are rough plans for the early seasons rewrite and the Roxy, Selina, Macy and Terrestrial Magic spin-off. I really hope i'll get to write some full on fanfictions about it in the near or distant future.

Everything else i post about here - at least the things i'm very sure about. From time to time i post ideas for this au on my main blog - @daydreamsia

Dumb question: but have you given some thioght about how beings travel from one world to another? And can there be multiple ways of traveling? Like starships and portals and whatnot?

Can't ask a dump question, no worries!

As all of the planets/kingdoms from canon are on one and the same planet (Magix) in my rewrite, there is not as much trouble around space/interplanetary travel. But this doesn't mean it's not a thing!

Magix and Earth are the main planets in my thing, but as Magix participates in trading with other planets there is space travel and also a dedicated place with portals to those other planets in Magix City - i imagine that one being like an airport, just with portals after the security/savety checks.

Would you also be willing to consider female faires, lady specialists, and everything else in betwen?

I'm guessing you mean male fairies? - for sure, it just happens a lot less often that boys want to become Fairies or Witchers.

So far i have no male Fairies planned, but i will certainly add some! For Witchers i already have Darko as the Witcher of Asteroids and Nex as the Witcher of Decay. There are some yet-to-be-named background Witchers as well tho.

Same with female Specialists and Wizards - Anne is a Specialist in her fourth year at Red Fountain. And there are also Mana, who is basically Musa from Fate, but reused and rewritten, and Nebula, who i took from the terrestrial fairies in canon, since all of them are no more alive, but i wanted to use her character as well - she is a Paladin as well. Both Mana and Nebula are Guardians of Red Fountain - Mana in the year of the Winx and Nebula in the year of the Terrestrials (Roxy, Selina, Macy).

And there can also be everything in between! - Both Helia and Luz (Lucy) are transgender, for example.

The differences between Fairies from Magix and fairies from Tir na Nog are visible in their wings -

those from Magix only have wings when transformed and it looks more like their magic is leaking from their backs, since the wings appear in the color of their magic and grow in size with the major transformations

Terrestrial Fairies however are born with their wings. They are surprisingly robust, but the fairies needed a spell to hide their wings from human eyes.

Witches magic markings are growing with their major transformations. Those markings appear in the same color as their magic.

Those who practice dark magic get corrupted by it and get growing markings on their bodies. Once visible, those can't be hidden, not even with the help of magic.

As Riven's mother practiced dark magic during her pregnancy with him, he has the markings of the first stage.

Daphne is a witch in your AU??? Nice!

Yeah!

In my AU being a fairy or witch/er doesn't determine if you're good or bad. It's really just two different ways to practice magic and for most mages one way to prectice it is easier than the other.

Having Daphne of all characters be a witch was an easy decision to make after i knew that practicing magic comes easy to her, but she also put so much more work into working her way up to becoming one of the youngest Nymphs in the history of Magix (together with Politea).

Sorry, it took me so long to answer your ask, but i wanted to have a drawing of young Daphne in her witch Manifest to go with it.

Little Daphne is only 14 years old here, which makes her one of the youngest witches in history to be able to stay transformed. She is a prodigy after all.

Kiko

Kiko was Daphnes Dæmon. She sent him with Bloom to earth in order to have a part of her always be close to her little sister and to leave Bloom with something magical.

Mike and Vanessa are greatly confused how this at least 18-year-old bunny is still alive, but they are also happy that he's healthy and clean.

The Characters

Putting down the basic information's about the most important characters here. Everything from their full name, their ages and birthdays, sexual -identification and -orientation, family dynamics and relationships, to the titles and powers they have.

My rewrite will start on Earth in 2004, since that's when the first season aired.

One year on Magix is just as long as one year on Earth and Stella teleported herself there around the end of July but Alfea's school year doesn't start until about the 11th of September.

I'll list everyone's age at the time of September 1st 2004.

The Winx girls are around 18 years old in the beginning, as the three schools of Magix City are colleges. The boys are about to start their second year in Red Fountain and the Trix get in their third year in Cloud Tower.

Bloom Peters

18 - brought to Gardenia on August 24th 1986, which she celebrates as her birthday actually already 19 - born on Dezember 10th 1985 nonbinary, bisexual (she/they) she was born as Princess Melia Flame of Marion, in Domino. Daughter of Queen Marion, Priestess of the Hearth and King Consort Oritel - both from Domino. Younger sister of Princess Daphne who was the Nymph of Domino, but died during the fall of Domino at age 25. Daphne saved Bloom's life by bringing her to Earth, where she grew up under the care of Vanessa and Mike Peters. They are amazingly supportive and loving parents. she considered Selina as her best friend, until she got into a relationship with Andy - Selina confessed having romantic feelings for her, but Bloom couldn't return those. Andy and Bloom's relationship lasted for almost two years and ultimately ended in a big fight, resulting in her leaving their band (she played the drums). Bloom has fire magic and is the Keeper of the Dragon Flame, she will be a Fairy

Shining Princess Stella Luna-Ray of Solaria

19 - August 18th 1985 cis, pansexual (she/her) she is very close with her father, the Radius Cyrus, who is the King of Solaria. Rather distant with her mother, Lady Luna from Callisto. The two of them are divorced and not on speaking terms. she was in a relationship with Amaryl, but they fought a lot and ultimately decided that it's not worth it. At the beginning of the story she's already in a relationship with Brandon - they've started dating half a year before. Her best friends are Sky and Nova. She knows about Brandon and Sky switching places, since she's always known Sky. Stella is the Fairy of Sunlight

Flora de Alyssa Rose

19 - March 1st 1985 cis, panromantic and demisexual (she/her) daughter of Alyssa and Lord Rhodos of Silva, both from Linphea. Very close with her mother, but broke off the contact with her dad, since her parents got divorced. She is the older sister of Miele and they are very close. Their mother got together with Sage, who is very close with both girls. she is really close with her family members, but never had too close friends, since she always focused on studying. She went to Cloud Tower in hopes of becoming a Witch, but she ultimately transformed into Magic Wings and had to switch over to Alfea. Flora is the Fairy of Flowers

Musa Mai-Lin Song

18 - May 30th 1986 androgyne, bisexual with preference for women (she/they) child of Ho-Boe and Mai-Lin from Melody. Mai-Lin died when Musa was 12 and Ho-Boe moved with them to Magix City after that. Since then he was very distant and forbid Musa to pursue a career in music. Musa however, was able to keep contact with their grandparents in Melody. they were always distracted with school, or helping out their dad in the shop. But they were in a relationship with Darcy, at least until she became closer with her coven sisters. Musa is the Fairy of Sound

Tecna "Tec" Cryos

18 - December 16th 1985 agender, panromantic and asexual (they/them) child of Magenthia and Electronio Cryos - both from Zenith. Older sibling of Ace Cryos. They are very distant with each other. was always very focused on studying and never made any close friends. Tec is the Fairy of Technomagic

Ísey "Icy" Skadis

20 - Dezember 5th 1983 cis, lesbian (she/her) both of her parents died when Jotunn was destroyed. Her older sister Sefira had to take care of her ever since. They were taken in by a Noblewoman in Eraklyon, who was very kind to them and taught both of them basic magic. when she grew up in Eraklyon she never thought of making friends as important, rather being focused on learning magic. Only when she came to Cloud Tower, met Darcy and Stormy and the three of them became a coven, she saw a point in becoming friends with someone. Icy is the Witch of Frost

Darclila "Darcy" of Griffin Aster

19 - October 5th 1984 cis, bisexual (she/her) daughter of Griffin from Callisto, younger sister of Darko. They don't know their father and their mother doesn't talk about him. she had some friends growing up, but only got closer with Musa, who she also got in a relationship with. They however broke it off when Darcy preferred spending time with her coven sisters over Musa. About one year later Darcy got in a relationship with Riven and they are still together. Darcy is the Witch of Shadows

Storm "Stormy" Donna-Wind

20 - April 5th 1984 doesn't care about labels but would put herself as nonbinary, aromantic and heterosexual (she/they) daughter of Lady Donna and Lord Bruce, both from Serenia and divorced now. Stormy and her mother are estranged and she doesn't have a lot of contact with her dad. was homeschooled and didn't care about gaining friends, until she met Icy and Darcy. Stormy is the Witch of Storms

Brandon Masonz

19 - September 23rd 1984 cis, bisexual (he/him) son of Sir Mason and Esme, both from Eraklyon and happily married. Older brother of the twins Jacky and Rayna, as well as baby-sister Fran. Very close with his sisters. He and his family consider Sky as his younger brother. As Brendon started being the Prince's squire from a young age he grew up in the castle and quickly became Sky's best friend. They need to pose as each other, in order to keep Sky save from assassinations. Thus Brandon is a excellent fighter with swords. He got into a relationship with Stella about half a year ago. Brandon has metal magic, he will be a Paladin

Crown Prince Skylan "Sky" Erendorz Eraklyon

19 - March 20th 1985 cis, straight-romantic and asexual (he/him) son of Emperor Erendor and the Empress Consort, Nymph Samara - both from Eraklyon. Both are very commanding and distant. Younger half brother of Prince Thoren, who he is close with. But he's closer even with Brandon's family, since Thoren prefers to spend the least time possible in the castle. as long as he can remember, Brandon is his best friend. But so are Stella and Diaspro. Sky has gravity magic, he will be a Paladin

Riven of Arcadia

19 - October 15th 1984 cis, bisexual with preference for women (he/him) grew up in the orphanage of Magix City. His mother, the Dark Witch Minerva, is from Zenith. His father is from Arcadia, but he doesn't know him. he has some friends in Magix City but he's not too close with anyone, besides his girlfriend Darcy. Riven has void magic and the magic of others doesn't work on him, he will be a Paladin

Timothy "Timo" Aella-Wind

20 - Feburary 15th 1984 agender, sraightromantic and greyasexual (they/them) son of Aella from Serenia and Bernard Cache from Zenith. Very distant with their dad, but close with their mom. Younger brother of Kelvin, who they get mocked by. they always had troubles when it came to finding friends and preferred working on their projects or helping out at their parent's lightning-farm. Timo has electricity magic, he will be a Paladin

Selina Morgan

Roxy: 17 - September 22nd 1986 Selina: 18 - Dezember 21st 1985 they were both Terrestrial Fairies, thus born genderless - Roxy doesn't care about genders or labeling themselves, so they say - none, aromantic and asexual (they/them) Selina associates as female, lesbian (she/her) they grew up under the care of Eldora and Klaus Morgan. A very tight-knit and loving family. Roxy has always had one best friend - Macy. Selina saw Bloom as her best friend, until she realized she was having a crush on them, when they began dating Andy. When she confessed they got into a fight after which Selina started to hang out with Roxy and Macy. Both Roxy and Selina are Terrestrial Witches but they don't know about that yet and thus haven't decided on their sources

Macy Lilo

16 - September 23rd 1987 cis, straight-romantic and asexual (she/her) daughter of Fred and Ariana Lilo, both from Italy. Her mother died when she was born, but she is very close with her father. she became best friends with Roxy when they were young and it never changed for them. Macy is the first human born with the ability to practice magic - She has elemental magic, but doesn't know that yet she will be a Wizard

Lady Diaspro Wyatts Amber

20 - December 30th 1983 cis, lesbian (she/her) daughter of Lord Wyatt from Eraklyon and Lady Iris from Solaria. Her parents are rarely at home, but she is quiet close with her mother. she was homeschooled and spent a lot of time at Erakyon's main palace, where she became friends with Sky. At royal events she spends most of her time with Stella. When she got into Alfea, she focused very much on her studies, but also became friends with a Paladin of her year over at Red Fountain - Anne. They dated for a bit until they came to the conclusion they'd be better friends. Diaspro is the Fairy of Crystals

17 - October 31st 1986 cis, lesbian (she/her) comes from a long line of witches from Domino. Of her family only she and her grandmother, Lady Maia, survived the fall of the kingdom. They moved to Magix City and are very tight-knit. growing up in Magix City Mitra always had one friend - Luz. Mirta has emotion magic, she will be a Fairy

Luz Ray

18 - June 24th 1986 transgender mtf, lesbian (she/her) daughter of Saga from Zenith and Sol from Solaria. Very tight-knit family, who moved to Magix City when Saga became a teacher at Red Fountain. After moving to Magix City Luz was able to gain a close friend in Mirta. She always wanted to be popular, but never quiet got there. Luz is the Witch of Nightmares

Crown Princess Aisha Waters of Niobe, from Andros

18 - June 15th 1986 cis, lesbian (she/her) daughter of King Teredor and Queen Consort Niobe of Andros. Younger sister of Princess Politea, who was the Nymph of Andros, but unfortunately died during the Fall of Domino. Since then Aisha's parents are very strict and overprotective. she grew up very secluded, as her parents were scared over losing their second daughter. Growing up in the castle she had one friend - Anne, who also was her first crush. Through her Aisha found her hobby in dancing and sneaking out of the castle. Aisha however, hasn't seen Anne in years - since her parents caught them sneaking out of the castle. she will go to Alfea under a fake name - Layla Aisha is the Fairy of Morphix

Krystal de Rachel Lavandula 

Helia: 20 - September 2nd 1983 Krystal: 17 - March 19th 1987 Helia is transgender ftm, straight-romantic and demisexual (he/him) Krystal is cis, panromantic and demisexual (she/her) children of Queen Rachel from Linphea and Professor Codatorta from Eraklyon. Grandkids of Saladin. A very tight-knit, but also very status oriented family. Since their mother is also the Nymph of Linphea she had to give up her family in order to achieve that title. Codatorta, Helia and Krystal live in Magix City with Saladin. Helia was always more focused on his art than being interested in finding friends. He was always very popular anyway, just didn't care about it enough. Krystal on the other hand traveled a lot to royal balls, even though she couldn't be too close to her mom anyway. She became close friends with Princess Galatea of Melody and soon started to spent a lot of time with her. Helia has blood magic, he will be a Wizard Krystal is the Fairy of Glass

Princess Galatea Lian-Shi Yijun

16 - September 30th 1987 nonbinary, pansexual (she/they) she's the seventh of nine sisters and not too close with any of them, since she got popular with her music from a young age. she met Krystal at a royal ball, they have been best friends and hanging out almost everyday together ever since. Galatea is the Fairy of Breath

Nova Elaine-Ray

17 - June 23rd 1987 cis, bisexual (she/her) daughter of Lady Elaine from Solaria and Lord Aiden, who is half dominian, half callistian. Younger sister of Amaryl. Very close family, even though she and her sister are fighting most of the time. growing up Nova spent a lot of time in the Solarian palace, due to her needing lots of medical attention and the best sun-healers being there. Over time she became best friends with Stella. Nova is the Fairy of Warming Lights

Nabu Waters of Uma

21 - January 30th 1983 cis, bisexual with a preference for men (he/him) son of Lord Ophir from Andros and Lady Uma, the Nymph of Serenia. Twin brother of Anemone "Anne". He is very close with his mother and sister, but doesn't get to see his father a lot. he's been homeschooled and after that focused on mastering Arcane Magic, thus never caring about making friends. He had some acquaintances, just no one he's keeping in touch with. Nabu has thermal magic, he will be a Wizard

Chimera Cassandra-Ray

14 - June 22nd 1990 cis, straight (she/her) she grew up very sheltered due to her mom, who she is not very close with but gets controlled by. she's a student of Beta Academy for future Fairies and Witches, where she met her two best friends. Chimera has meteor magic, she will be a Fairy

The Guardians

Every year one graduating student from each of the three Magic Colleges in Magix City can become a Guardian.

Guardians last three years in their respective schools to help guide new students along in their first three years and serve as a bridge between them and the teachers.

There are always three Guardians at the same time at each of the colleges.

The guardians' duties:

First and foremost, they have to look out for their students - help them out with school related problems, or if they have private troubles. It is no rarity to see some students become great friends with their year's guardian. At the end of their first year in Red Fountain, this colleges' guardian helps with putting together the teams of Specialists for the next year. Second- and third-year guardians additionally make sure to enroll their students in the electives they choose.

- in the year of the Boys (second year):

Magic Colleges in Magix City

The three best colleges for anyone who learns magic are located in Magix City – Alfea, Cloud Tower and Red Fountain. All of them can only be visited, once the basic education has been finished, which is when the student is around eighteen years old. They all take five years.

The students either have to pay for their education or get a scholarship. In every school a maximum of 50 students are accepted per year, making sure there are never more than 250 students.

Alfea for Fairies

For the first year every student needs to attend the classes for History of Magix, Magi-philosophy (Morality of Magic), Formation and Language of Spells, General Magic, Transformation, Basic Charms, Basic Defense and Offense, Basic Healing and Basic Potions.

Second years classes are History of Magix, Convergence, Charms, Defense and Offense, Healing and Potions.

Classes of the third year are History of Magix, Advanced Charms, Advanced Defense and Offense, Advanced Healing and Advanced Potions.

Alfea also offers a variety of electives which can be chosen from the second year onward: for example Advanced Magical Theory, Blessings, Magic Healing, Nature Magic, Botany and Herbology.

Fairies are expected to have gained Charmix by their third year.

In their fourth and fifth year they can continue studying on their own, with a mentor, or participate in classes focussed on becoming king or queen of their Realm.

Cloud Tower for Witch/ers

For the first year every student needs to attend the classes for History of Magix, Magi-philosophy (Morality of Magic), Meditation, General Magic, Basic Witchcraft, Basic Hexes, Basic Potions, Basic Curses and Demonology.

Second years classes are History of Magix, Witchcraft, Hexes, Potions, Curses and a separate class for every Coven.

Classes of the third year are History of Magix, Rituals, Advanced Witchcraft, Advanced Hexes, Advanced Potions and Advanced Curses.

Electives include Mentalist Magic, Infused Magic, Alchemy, Divination, Astronomy and Astrology.

Witch/ers are expected to have their Relic by their third year.

In their fourth and fifth year they can continue studying on their own, with a mentor, or participate in classes focussed on becoming king or queen of their Realm.

Red Fountain for Paladins and Wizards

Specialists are trained to become Paladins.

During their first year all of them have the same classes – History of Magix, Basic Fighting, General Magic, Basic Weaponry, Basic Engineering, Strategy, Combat Medicine, Piloting and Politics.

By the end of that year, they get to choose what they want to focus on – becoming a Leader (green jewel), a Pilot and Mechanic (yellow jewel), a Strategist and Negotiator (blue jewel) or an Armorer and Combatant (purple jewel). Leaders still have to attend every class, whilst the others have a much more specific education.

In their second year a group of those four is put together. They are expected to work together and go on missions. Also, everyone has to attend Dragon Training and Magic Combat.

Electives can be chosen from the second year onward: Magic Tech, Hand to Hand Combat, Archery, Sword Technique and Long-Distance Combat.

In their third year the group is joined by a Wizard.

During their last two years their education focusses either on working as a Paladin/Wizard, royal guard or becoming king or queen of their Realm. But no matter what they choose, the Paladins have to work on their own nanotech-armor. It is stored inside the jewel they make of their own magic at the end of their third year. That’s also where a Paladin’s weapons are kept when they don’t need them.

Wizards are expected to have their Scepter by the end of their third year.

From the fourth year onward, additional electives can be chosen from: Technological Architecture, Software Construction, Master Engineering and Coding. For those who already know, they want to do something different after the education.

Electives are for students of either one of the three colleges. If one chooses one from another school, they would have to go there. Some electives are taught in Magix City:

Royals from every college can attend classes specifically for them – Etiquette, Economics, Sociology, Diplomacy, Politics and Laws. Those are taught by advisors.

Language classes can be chosen as well. For students who want to learn other languages of Magix.

Furthermore, students can also choose from Art Classes, Creative Writing, Music, Fashion or from variety of dance and martial art courses.

The Magi Hunters of the Black Circle

Everything started with Acheron, a man who wanted to practice magic. However, humans were never born with magic. Thus it was only possible for them to use Dark Magic, which draws upon the magical energy within magical creatures to fuel spells.

To be able to do so, he crated a book, which he titled the Legendarium and a ring forged of iron - the Black Circle.

The Legendarium was capable of consuming Magis, sending them into a purgatorial-like dimension. Once captured within it, the creatures' existence got wiped from the collective conscience and they continued to be remembered as myths and folklore.

Through the Black Circle he was ultimately able to harness the magic contained within the Legendarium, without killing the creatures off completely.

In his travels through Europe, Africa and Asia he was successful with collecting every Magi. And on the way he met four men who were very interested in sharing the gift of Magic.

The first was Ogron. They met in Scotland, where Acheron also heard about Fairies, but was never able to find them.

The second was Gantlos, in Norway. The third, Anagan, in Africa. And the fourth, Duman, in Souteast Asia.

By then about 130 years had already passed and Acheron hadn't aged even single day since capturing the first creature inside the Legendarium. He theorized it was the magic, that kept them all from growing older. So, they settled and decided to practice magic.

Eventually, each one of them focused their magic into different powers, which would help them capture more creatures.

Acheron studied the Legendarium further and was able to enhance its powers, so they would only have to actually capture one of every creature and have all others of its kind caught at the same time. In doing so a page of the book was filled with every information about the captured Magi. Ogron taught himself to absorb magic, when attached with it, to make himself resilient against magical attacks of any kind. Gantlos turned himself into a detector of magic and learned to actively drain one Magi at the time of its Magic. Anagan trained to be able to turn the Magic of any Magi against itself. Duman learned to block a Magi's connection to its Magic. The block can only be active for a few minutes, but it significantly weakens the magic for a longer amount of time.

Eventually they traveled to Ireland, to learn more about the supposed Fairies and their hiding place.

With their combined powers they were able to find and get into Tir na Nog, where they killed a lot of fairies and burned down the Magical Core of Earth. But they weren't able to capture even a single fairy inside the Legendarium.

Instead, one fairy succeeded in capturing Acheron inside the Legendarium, before she escaped with it, whilst also saving two young fairies.

The four remaining Magi Hunters were able to kill every remaining fairy. But in the end, they couldn't leave Tir na Nog and where doomed to stay there for hundreds of years, since the magic of the island had that effect on humans.

The destruction of Earths Magical Core didn't render it useless - it rather made it harder to control, while it also kept growing. The four men just kept practicing their powers to perfection. All whilst planning out what they would do, if they ever were to escape.

History of Magic on Earth

Magic on Earth was bound to a small island close to Ireland – Tir na Nog. In the middle of it bloomed the Blossom of Life – the Magical Core of Earth, from which the Terrestrial Fairies were born.

The island was locked away from humans because the Terrestrial Fairies feared them greatly. The key to Tir na Nog was the White Circle. Kept safe by the leader of the Fairies.

In 476 A.D. the Magi Hunters of the Black Circle, a group of five men who practiced Dark Magic, came to Tir na Nog. They burned down the Blossom of Life with black flames, ensuring no new Fairies could be born. Most of the Fairies where killed, others got their wings cut off.

The Fairies could imprison the leader of the Magi Hunters, Acheron, in the weapon he had created to capture Magis and drain their Magic – the Legendarium.

The Terrestrial Fairy of Wisdom, advisor of the leader of Fairies, was able to use the White Circle to flee into the future. It sent her to the closest day in time, which had a huge output of magic (the day Daphne brought Bloom to Earth). It was a warm summer night in 1986. She was also able to safe two very young Fairies, whose wings had been cut off.

In doing so she trapped the four remaining Magi Hunters in Tir na Nog. Not knowing they wouldn’t age even a single day, since the island had that effect on humans.

To this day the White Circle remains to be the key to Tir na Nog, where the Magic grew to be wild and uncontrollable, since the core has been destroyed. Thus, turning the White Circle into a powerful magic weapon.

Terrestrial Fairies were born genderless and with wings. Their magical power was connected to the moth of their birth.

Air magic connected to spring months – March, April, May

Fire magic connected to summer months – June, July, August

Earth magic connected to autumn months – September, October, November

Water magic connected to winter months – Dezember, January, February

Besides the connection to the element of their birth season they could choose an additional power source. Most of the time it was connected to their personal interest.

Terrestrial Witches are Terrestrial Fairies whose wings have been cut off. Through that the connection to their element was destroyed, making their magic more destructive and volatile.

The Blossom of Life bloomed once every hundred years, but could never regrow.

In 1987 it regrew in the garden of a sickly pregnant woman. Her daughter was born healthily, the woman though died anyway. The young girl however, is the first human born with Magic.

Aging of Magicians

People from Magix are called Magicians, everyone who persues to practice magic at a higher level is called a Mage.

Due to magic being everywhere and everyone being born with it, the average age of death is 100 years old.

Those, who practice magic on a basic level tend to average out about 105 years of age. That includes

Fairies who gained their Wings

Witch/ers who reached their Manifest

Wizards who created their Amulet

More experienced magic users become around 110 years old. It's like that for

Fairies with their Charmix

Witch/ers with their Relic

and Wizards with their Scepter

and Paladins

Strong magic users age to about 125 years old. Those are

Enchantix Fairies

Enchantress Witch/ers

and Wizards with their Staff

Those who perfected their use of magic live to be around 150 years of age. Those are

Faerix Fairies

and High Witch/ers

And those, who get to be protectors of the highest power of their homes' Magical Core, live to be about 200 years old (if they don't decide, to pass on the power to the next).

Those are Nymphs.

The legal age on Magix is 20.

Kings and Queens rule between the age of 25 to 75. Except on Linphea, where the Nymph of Harvest is also the current ruler of the Kingdom.

Dark Magic usually shortens one's life the more they use it. But through a loop hole it can also be misused to turn oneself immortal, by draining the life energy of others.

Naming on Magix

I wanted the naming on Magix to be different to the way it's done on Earth, to make sure the magicians (people of Magix) have more of an otherworldly feel to them.

So, as it's more likely for girls to become Fairies or Witches, it's common practice to wait up to five years until naming one's daughter, to have the name fit with their magical power. For boy's however, it's more probable that they become a Wizard or a Paladin and their magic type isn't as obvious. But usually the meaning of their name allude to their home country, at least most of the time.

I imagine surnames are translated from the different languages of the countries of Magix, since that is how everyone understands another - through a translation spell. So, the surnames as i write them down are more of a literal translation of their meaning.

In Arcadia bloodlines have been tracked through the mothers' and when the country began to have a bigger number of residents they decided it was best to start using last names. Since they wanted to make sure one's mother is always thought of, they made sure surnames honored the mothers. The first Fairy and the Ancestral Witches were the first to officially be mentioned with their last names. Those were written as of and the mother's name - Belladonna of Athan, Thamara of Athan, Liliss of Athan, Arcadia of Athan, ...

This kind of naming however, changed a bit as people moved away from the first city to build new homes around other Magical Cores.

In Andros a mothers' kids are getting addressed as her Waters - Aisha Waters of Niobe, Nabu Waters of Uma, ... In Callisto there is big importance on the stars, as Callistians are closer to them, at least through the magic of their home's Magical Core. Mothers are seen as the stars which brought up their children - Darcilia of Griffin Aster, ... In Domino a mother gives up a piece of her fire, to let a new one grow. In that believe her child is seen as her Flame - Daphne Flame of Marion, Mirta Flame of Brenda, ... In Eraklyon it was decided to think more of ones' father. For the  daughters, there is the suffix -s after their father's name, for sons, it's -z instead - Brandon Masonz Nobles have the crystal of their home town in their name - Diaspro Wyatts Amber And the imperial family has the name of the Magical Core of their empire added - Sky Erendorz Eraklyon In Jotunn its the mother's name with the suffix -is - Ísey Skadis In Linphea one is born from the mothers' family plant. So, it goes - Flora de Alyssa Rose In Melody the child is their mother's song - Musa Mai-Lin Song But the royal family strives for harmony in their kingdom, so the King, Queen and their direct descendants have Yijun added instead - Galatea Lian-Shi Yijun In Serenia the children are their mothers' winds - Timothy Aella-Wind, Storm Donna-Wind, ... In Solaria the kid's are seen as ray of their mothers' light - Stella Luna-Ray, Nova Elaine-Ray, ... In Zenith every family has a unique family name, which in a marriage gets changed for both of them. But in the children's documents are their parent's names as gender-neutral variants listed, like a middle name - Tecna al' Magenth Electron Cryos

Should one parent come from a different county, the naming style for the child will always fit to the country the parents decide to stay in, except for when they decide to stay in Magix City, in this case the child's surname conforms to the way of naming of Arcadia.

In the rare case in which a children's parents are unknown, they will be raised in Magix City and named of Arcadia, as a protective name - Riven of Arcadia

Creatures born from Magic

Only Pixies and Dæmons are born from magic.

Pixies are born from the Flower of Life once a fairy has stabilized their first transformation. They are around 8cm tall, genderless and their skin has the same colour as the fairies magic. They choose their own names, once they are a few days old.

A Pixies personality is either similar, or very different to their fairie's and their powers are just what the fairy needs. But not every fairy meets their Pixie.

Pixies can also be born as Guardian Pixies. Those come to life once a huge amount of magic has been bonded to an object, creating a Codex.

The very first Guardian Pixie was born when the Magical Core of Zenith was created - the country was named after them.

A Dæmon or Witch/ers' familiar. It is the physical manifestation of the Witch/ers’ soul, which can be made visible to others once the Witch/er has created their Relic. The Dæmon is genderless and takes the form of an animal, although it is never taller than 50cm.

As a Witch/er and their Dæmon are one being, it is physically and emotionally painful for them to separate too far from each other. Through a mental connection Dæmons can communicate non-verbally with their Witch/ers and share the same dreams as them. But they are also able to hold different intuitions to their Witch/ers and reveal emotional responses to their surroundings that might not otherwise be obvious.

It is considered taboo for others to touch a Witch/ers’ Dæmon. If it is touched the witch feels a strong sense of repulsion and weakness.

A Witch/er who has become a Nymph can separate themselves from their Dæmon through great distances, but the mental connection will always persist. A Nymphs' Dæmon can also be touched by others, without it affecting them.

A Witch/er who is consumed by dark magic will lose their Dæmon. Although it doesn’t matter if the Witch/er themselves used it or if they were cursed.
