Hey, uh, I just found this blog again, and I wanted to say something...
So this is inactive, if you can’t tell. I doubt I’ll ever return here; I started it after an identity crisis, and not wanting to be traceable anywhere to whoever I thought I was. I’m currently over at @positrology, if you still want to follow me.
But honestly... I’ve kind of fallen out of witchcraft.
It’s not that I’ve lost belief in magic, but... I’ve come to realize I’m actually a DID system. I experience memory loss, “switching” between personalities (you can read more about my system on my new main blog @lore-soong!), and, well... delusion. And frankly, I can’t tell my magickal sense or whatever from clinical delusion. So I’ve reverted to having no religion whatsoever.
In addition, recently I self harmed with hot wax. Thus, I’ve been taking precautions to protect myself from being triggered into doing it again, including not allowing myself to be around flame or hot wax. This means no candle magic, which was a BIG part of my practice.
Please understand that I in no way think less of witches, witchcraft, or magick. I will probably still celebrate the sabbats if I judge myself to be able, and I’m keeping this blog and Positrology up in case I need/choose to practice again. But due to my mental health, I am unable to simply rely on intuition or feelings, which are a HUGE part of magic and witchcraft.
I’d like to thank the witchcraft community for being a part of my journey as a person; while I was able to participate, you helped me a lot. Thank you for being a part of my life.

My altar for cats who have passed away! The ribbon is for playing with, the dry food is for nourishment, the whipped cream is for a treat (it is is a holiday!), and the water is part moon water. (The plate and bowl are ones I fed my older cat with when she was alive.) That tiny sigil at the bottom is "All cat spirits who pass through here are blessed" in wax from an old protection candle. Thought I'd share! :)

Honestly, I'm just gonna leave out some offerings on my alter for whatever spirits of passed away cats might be nearby (some food, a dish of water, and a catnip toy) with some quartz and a small white candle. My grandparents will be here tonight, and they're super christian, but it's important to me bc not only did I lose a cat this year (20 years old; she lived a happy life!!), but my neighbors' cat was hit by a car this week. So I want to honor their spirits.

Mood Marbles
Don’t lie: when you were a kid, you had marbles. Maybe you found a bag full of them in the basement, or maybe you have a mini-bag that comes with those Christmas cracker things that also have colourful paper crowns in them (oh come on, you know what I’m talking about!) Here’s something fun that you can do with those marbles! You will need:
marbles (duh)
a small bag (preferably a sachet bag, but as long as it’s small and re-closeable, it’s fine)
salt
water (any water you hold sacred)
Mood Marbles are little charms that you hold to change your mood. Much like holding a gemstone to soothe or calm, Mood Marbles play on how their colours and patterns make you feel.
First, you have to choose what moods you want. If you’re shy, you may want to choose confidence. If you’re a worrier (like me), you’ll want to choose calm. I even made a Mood Marble for when I’m at parties and I need a little pickup to get me in the mood to party and socialize. When you’ve chosen your moods, look through your marbles and find one for each mood. Maybe you choose a swirly blue marble for calm because the blue soothes you, or maybe the swirls remind you of calming ocean waves. Check out some colour correspondence charts if you’re having a hard time assigning colours.

(From left to right: Brown swirl for curing homesickness, black with green swirl for sleep, clear blue for calm, orange swirl for raising spirit, clear for clarity of mind, blue swirl for curing loneliness, rainbow speckled for help at parties/social gatherings, green swirl for diffusing anger, yellow swirl for confidence, black with grey blob for curing grief.)
Take the marble and sprinkle it with salt and water. Charge it with your intent (the mood you want it to represent). Place it in the small bag. Carry the bag around with you. Whenever you need a marble, take it out and roll it between your fingers for awhile. Study its colours and patterns. The mood it represents will be achieved.
