I thought about it, and the only person it hurts is if the dad wanted them. But is it worth restricting abortion for some guy's entitlement?

At risk of sounding like I'm a monster, murder is bad because humans are a social species. Killing someone is killing someone else's caretaker, employee, employer, heir, parent, etc.

Wtf does a fetus do for society besides wait to become a person? Their only social connection is their parents and the parents don't want them.

You can be against abortion, but it is definitely not the same as murder.

Edit: I keep running into these arguments so I'm putting caveats

1. I do not follow Christianity.

2. The disabled, unemployed, homeless are still a part of society. The only people I can think of with 0 connections are like dumpster babies, who are going to die of exposure without help. Yeah, you could probably get away with killing it legally, given no one knows about it besides the person who put it there. I wouldn't recommend it though personally.

3. Existing IS contributing to society, because again, humans are a social species. The only connection is to the mother / parent, and they don't want it.

4. I didn't say anything about biology. It could be biological murder, but it doesn't have the same social ramifications as murder, unless you believe all ovulation and male completion is murder, given those are also potential people.

5. ALSO: if you're forcing people to have children for God, you're forcing people to glorify your own God, which is weird.

6. What I'm trying to say is: Is preventing a potential member of society from existing on the same level as harming for murdering a current member of society.
