King Steven's face used to be beautiful. Used to be divine.

No, it used to be flawless.

Now the features are still those of a greek god, his stunning beauty is still to be adored. Yet there are flaws — in the form of scars, remnants of several fierce fights against the mysterious creature that came from a crack at the bottom of a mountain (demogorgon) and threatened the kingdom.

At that time King Steven, despite being young and somewhat inexperienced in battles, rushed to rescue his people. In the end, the abominable creature retreated to hell where it had emerged from, the bleeding king stepped away from the threshold of death,

However, his handsome face was scarred for life.

One day a man is found in the woods near the mountains.

He is laying breathless on the ground, the body clad in dark armour, some parts of which were pierced through by sharp objects, his horse obediently standing beside its dying master.

The man is a barbarian, they say. No-one has ever seen him around, and no-one knows how and why he was in those woods, nearing his death.

The man is brought to the king's chambers and taken care of, his multiple wounds nursed and, after he regains consciousness, his thirst and hunger satisfied.

The King stays alone with the knight, eager to ask questions.

He also does not wish to ever stop looking at the knight's strong body and handsome face, mesmerized by his tanned skin, the glow of his eyes that remind of powerful waves crashing mercilessly at the foot of the rocky mountain which is destined to always withstand the onslaught of the untameable ocean, the fair hair, flowing in sun soaked streams of gold, the voluptuous lips that promise neverending pleasures.

King Steven is confused by his own thoughts, ardent desires and intentions. The craving is sudden and intense, it smells of blood and danger, yet seems to offer the alluring prospects of utter bliss and infinite delight.

Steven lets his gaze linger on the knight's taut muscles and torn flesh.

His wounds are horrifying, and his body is covered in strange enigmatic black marks — tattoos, they say, something that only barbarians do to their bodies.

"What is your name? Which kingdom do you come from?"

"My name is William and I belong to no kingdom." The man's voice is deep and husky and already spinning ropes around King Steven's will and composure.

"I cannot say anything more for I have no previous memory of the events that have brought me to your kingdom and left me dying on your land. However, I am endlessly grateful for the rescue and ready to loyally serve the merciful and noble king."

Is William dangerous for the king? Does he have a secret agenda? What hides in his past?

A medieval harringrove au where Steve is king (with scars on his face!!) and Billy is that mysterious knight who has a dark past and is possibly connected to sinister forces (the upside down, the mindflayer?) and by rescuing him the king has unknowingly brought multiple perils upon his kingdom as well as himself, but he also falls in love with the knight and .. yeah, the plot is still to be developed ✨💫⚔️👑🗡️❤️‍🔥

Ok, I know this is the ultimate sign that I’ve finally lost it, but hear me out, just for a second, hear me out:

Billy and Steve quickly becoming the Principal’s worst nightmare. His worst nightmare, like: constantly screaming at each other in the hallways. Throwing stuff in the middle of Mr. Seraphine’s class. Picking fights after school, in the schoolyard where he is the one that has to go and try to stop them. Making the basketball practice “The hell raised on earth, I swear. Those kids aren’t human, they are demonic creatures. And my skin is breaking out, Jeremy. My wife thinks I’m eating chocolate behind her back again. And it’s all because of those kids” And as if that wasn’t enough, they basically live in the row of chairs in front of his office, now. And they get loud when they are mad at each other which is all of the time. And they always have detention together. And the staff is done. And he’s done. He’s, deeply, utterly, desperately DONE.

He’s- OH.

“So! Since it doesn’t seem to be doing any good, I’m not going to send you to detention. You two are going to serve your time. I want you in Mrs. Blucas class tomorrow, at ten”

“But that’s in the middle of–”

“At ten, Hargrove. She’ll tell you what to do”

So they go to Mrs. Blucas class, which turns out to be the photography class.

Steve flashes a smile to the crowd. Waves a hand at Jonathan when he spots him on the back, and Jonathan responds with a expression that he’s unable to decipher. 

“It’s so nice of you to be here, boys. We’ve been having a hard time to find volunteers for this particular project. But Mr. Price said you were ecstatic to participate! We’re really happy to have you in here”

Steve lifts a brow.

“Oh, and we are too. We are. But- would you please be so kind to explain us again in what exactly consist this thing we’ve volunteer for?. Mr Price wasn’t really -uh- specific”

“Right! Sure! We are replicating the most iconic book cover styles from the last decades. You’re here to pose for one of them”

Billy coughs -“Nerds”- coughs again. Steve is starting to have a bad feeling about this.

“Cool. And. Uhm. Which one do we have to do?”

Mrs. Blucas fishes a piece of paper from the pile on her desk. Waves it at them.

“This!”

Billy doesn’t laugh this time.

“This”

“Yeah, this”

(“They were doing it. In the boy’s lockers. They were doing it”

“They can’t. How do you kno-?”

“There were sounds, Principal”

The coach opens a chocolate bar. Mr. Price inhales deeply.

Someone on discord posted a screenshot of a post or tweet or something that was basically this, and wanted it in this style. I don’t remember a) who it was or b) exactly what it was, but either way, it inspired this!
