It’s taken me almost 18 years to realize that home isn’t a place. My parents house isn’t “home”, when I crawl into bed every night I’m not “home”, my favorite spots in town aren’t “home”, all the places I’ve lived in –none of them are home. Home is your voice telling me everything’s alright and your sleepy eyes late at night. Damn. I can’t wait to come home.

LDR

From being in a relationship with someone 3,000 miles away and being in a relationship with someone 3 miles away.. i’ve come to a realization, about myself.. Me, as a person, i love to spoil & i love to put my all into someone. When i love, i love hard.. believe me. Anyway, dating someone i can see everyday is unhealthy for me because i’m not good at balancing everything out, i always lose myself in that person cause i forget about me. Believe me, i would love to see “my girl” everyday but from all of the situations i’ve been in, i’ve learn whats best for me. When “my girl” is further away, i HAVE to stay busy and worry about myself & that is exactly what i need, because i have so much going for me and have to focus…Lately i’ve been saying i don’t want a relationship because i know i’ll get caught up. But then something hit me.. I remembered that feeling of seeing someone for the first time in weeks or months even & i crave it, i crave that feeling so much. i want a journey, i want a challenge, i want someone to stick with me, & i want to look my wife in the eyes while we’re sitting in our house one day and say “thank you for being so strong all this time, we finally beat the distance” .. i want to accomplish that with my person. & i wont stop until i get it because i know what i deserve.
