"Cradle robber." She teased, smiling. "If you like him that much, then just wait until he's out of school. How long will it take?" Elphie sighed and shook her head. "My classes are fine. They're actually going surprisingly well."
Seeing a friend
“Classes are going well… Some of the students are a pain. Some of them… are very nice.” Jayne blushed as he thought of Hanna. “How are your classes going?”

She smirked at the blush. "Now wait just a clock tick. What's with that blush, Jayne? Don't tell me..." She raised an eyebrow. "Did a student make a pass at you?"

She blinked and smiled. "You really didn't have to do that. But thanks." Elphie accepted the coffee gratefully, grinning. "So how are classes going? I've barely seen you."
Seeing a friend
“I come with a gift and with coffee,” he said as he opened the door. "New store in town. Sells antiquities and I thought you’d like a nice candelabra.”

Elphaba smiled and glanced up from her newspaper, she delicately folded it and placed it aside. "Not at all. Please, come in Jayne."
Seeing a friend
“Hey Elphie? You busy?” Jayne went up the stairs of the tower, candelabra and tea in coffee in hand. He had… an odd question for his old friend.

Elphaba entered the shop and tugged her hat down over her face a little. Shopkeepers would sometimes shoo her out for her odd skin. She had never been in this store before despite passing it several times while running her errands.
She browsed the shelves and then paused when she saw a little music box. The witch opened it and smiled to see a little dancing monkey inside. She gently wound the music box and the monkey began to slowly spin as the notes to "Over the Rainbow" began to play.
For some reason, Elphaba began to feel...rather melancholy while listening to it.
*Has open his shop for the day. An antique shop in Hogsmeades that caters to the past items of both the muggle and wizarding worlds. Dimitri believe the items of the past shouldn’t be forgotten and there’s so many that have come and gone over time. It’s a reason he decided to become an antique dealer, to keep these items available and restored for those who have a home from them.
Got behind the shop’s counter with a book and awaited the day’s customers.*

She hummed. "I see that things have been rocky between you and your loves. I see death in both your past and your future. Pain. Things you are accustomed to." The woman tilted her head. "There will be no children in the near future but the possibility for more exists. Should you have another, it will most likely be a boy."
fortunes?
She hummed and looked into the ball. “Interesting…have you two been together long?” So far, no symbols appeared other than simple facts about Illis’ character.

Illis closed his eyes too, concentrating. He knew this sort of magic worked best when the other person participated. He sometimes dreamed of the future, though it was hardly ever clear. More like feelings and implications that drove him in one direction or the other. “My partner and I are marrying in May…” he offered.

Elphaba smiled and readied a tea cup with tea leaves, then explained how to drain the cup properly. "You may see symbols in the cup like an acorn or a cross. It is very easy. I'll even help you."
“That’s brilliant!” she declared. All that, from just a foggy little sphere! Being able to know what one ought not with just a glance was certainly impressive.
“Thanks. I need all the luck I can get.” she said, her smile fading a bit. She couldn’t be certain of Elphaba’s heritage, but she was certainly aware that discrimination was alive and well in the wizarding world.
A brief look of apprehension flashed across her face at the mention of giving divination a shot. Heaven knew reading anything wasn’t particularly up her alley, and she didn’t speak tea leaf. She wasn’t one to give up without at least trying, though. “Ok.”

She smiled and began to look into the Crystal ball, clearing her mind. "Well then...First off, I try to get a reading on you. You're a curious person with an insatiable desire for knowledge. Classic Ravenclaw. As the youngest, you are having trouble finding your own path. Everywhere you look, your siblings have been."
Elphaba began to move her hands over the crystal, using the shadows from them to make certain symbols clearer. "You want to make a name for yourself. You want to be known as more than you currently are. Because you push yourself so hard, you have trouble slowing down to notice the people around you. Does that all sound right so far?"
She shrugged. “Whatever you wish to know. Is there any subject in particular that you would like information on?”

"My skin is a different color because my mother was a Hag. You know, children-eating, curse-afflicting, evil-doing creatures with warts? One of the reasons Muggles hate witches?" She kept walking, not looking back, but her posture tense. "So that makes me a half-hag. The green skin is just the most obvious sign that I'm...different."
“Ah, you can…Call me Elphie if you want. I don’t really care.” She cleared her thoat, then turned toward the stairs that lead up to the Divination tower. “So, uhm….do„,are you…..why don’t I freak you out?”

She glanced up at him. Well he didn't seem to be disgusted by her. It was a start. "Is there anything I can help you with? Or are you just exploring the Divination tower at leisure?" She'd overheard that the new headmaster enjoyed exploring the school.
"And please, just call me Miss Elphaba. I don't think I've quite earned my title yet."
+ Mastermerlin
Elphaba smiled oddly at the headmaster, then fiddled with her hat, pulling it down over her face a little, a nervous habit. “Ah, hello, sir.”

She hummed, then gazed into her ball. "Well then....let's take a look." She cleared her mind and began to search for any symbols or signs.

She gestured for him to sit in front of her on the other side of the table on which her crystal ball was perched. “Just sit down. Is there anything in particular you want me to search for?”

She shrugged. "Whatever you wish to know. Is there any subject in particular that you would like information on?"
She smiled at Azrael. “I would be happy to.” Elphie gestured for the girl to sit in front of her. The woman had set up a table with her personal crystal ball on it with two chairs on either side.
