not to write a self-indulgent love letter to my own muse here but it's frankly incredible that this fandom favors so many other characters over mel. she is easily one of (if not the) most cunning, intellectual, captivating characters ar.cane has to offer: exiled from n.oxus only to rise and build herself up to the council within just a small handful of years; achieved everything she did with j.ayce and hex.tech; fought and lost so much, so many people, should be weighed down by grief that would stagger or defeat many others but instead lifts her head high and sails back to n.oxus by the finale in search of yet more answers; awakened magic she turned around and used instantly to save caitlyn's life and dominate in that final battle.

she is so strong and intelligent and deeply interesting in all the ways her mind ticks, the way her beliefs and her personality function sometimes against herself or at her own expense... i need more of her i need to crawl inside her head i need to push her up against a hundred other personalities and observe how they make her operate. i want to see her up against ji.nx, s.ilco, caitlyn, vi, e.kko, se.vika, league characters, ocs ... like i'm RAVENOUS just looking at her as a character. and people ignore her??? people write her off?? people don't thirst to explore her potential dynamics platonically or romantically with literally everyone outside of just j.ayce and v.iktor? how? someone put me down ...
