LOVE YOURSELF 046: My partner in crime. My ace in the hole. My #1 stunna. She is a star and she is back on tour w/ the West Coast power group, Cunninlynguists. She'll be gone for a few weeks and while I'm sad that I will not be sharing a stage with her on this tour, I love and respect and am extremely excited about everything she is doing and all that she continues to do to pave the way for new artists like myself. She is constantly reinventing herself, as well as fueling and funding her own ideas and ventures. Lately, she has been attacking life with a new fire and with each year the verses and music seem to be getting younger, hotter and more digestible. It is clear that after last years trauma, Psalm is a new womyn, unhinged and quite proud. She looks to be working toward a very promising future and is doing a very $ilky job influencing the culture. She is in Las Vegas tonight at Beauty Bar! If you're there and a fan, go give her and Cunninlynguists some love!

Love yourself : Last year around this time, I was in a wormhole. I had a nasty addiction, was surrounded by snakes, was hurting & broken and on the verge of self mutilation. I was reverting back to monsterdom. I remember wanting to celebrate my birthday with those I loved but honestly, it was "just another day" by that point and when I looked at my circle of so-called "friends", they were becoming monsters. We weren't good for each other. I dance between happiness and emptiness quite often. It's tough outchea but I manage. There are beasts raging inside of me that I have yet to control. I do better everyday but make no mistake, we ALL have demons. This year, I was blessed with Riot Fest tix (Thanks @do312), saw Meth and Red & DEATH GRIPS (DEATH GRIPS!!!), had a crazy successful karaoke Saturday and got to hang with my family! BTW, I had a FANTASTIC birthday! Now, I don't have life in the bag yet but manifesting what I want has been working in my favor all year, so why stop now? I love you all, I'm grateful for life, growth & positive energy and most of all, I love me.

LOVE YOURSELF 043: Friendships aren't hard to maintain. Surrounding yourself with people who make you feel wonderful & who you know are good people also really helps. I CHOSE to let go of past friendships to make room for new ones that are blooming. My friends come from all walks of life and have views that often differ but the respect, love and trust we build amongst ourselves is phenomenal and solid. I'm graciously thankful for the new friends and new chapters brewing in my life. Be thankful for your friendships today. Someone somewhere is struggling with "friends" who will never love, trust or respect them. But I'm not.
