Dürer Knots
Woodcut on paper, ca. 1507. First, second, fifth and sixth knots.
Got to visit the Art Institute of Chicago yesterday, so a few posts with the math art from there. Definitely one of my happy places.
The intricacies and symmetries on these knots was amazing.

Math Art at the Art Institute of Chicago
Christina Ramberg, professor at the School of the AIC, had a large exhibition. Most of which was not my cup of tea, but the you get to the quilts (which she made to relax), and then some interesting schematics.
