Returning in a new role, William A. Wellman of @hellofromthehallowoods is one of the sweetest folks I've met in AD. They're a fantastic writer, actor, and sound designer who's appeared on @woebegonepod, @oldgodspod, and @somewhereohio among many more, and is so well dressed I end up spending a half hour in the closet before any meetings to not embarrass myself. We are so grateful to have William in Season 2!

Happy milestone, WOE.BEGONE 💗 Episode 200 this week.

We organized a Highlight Reel on the discord server (every canon episode represented, over 50 episodes represented with fanart), a fun silly personality quiz, a gorgeous curated playlist, and the second WOE.REPORT. Here on tumblr I want to share art I made for the Highlight Reel. The episode that truly locked us in. Episode 9: Trailhead.

I'm a relatively recent listener, I binged through the first fourteen seasons August 2024. It made me feel seen and understood in a time where I was going through a flare-up and feeling pretty isolated. Through the lens of timetravel, identity, and body horror I have found something that represents a lot of my feelings re: living in a world that creates disabilities and then discards us crips. Bodies like cannon fodder for the bottom line.

This show means a lot to me. I'm deeply grateful for all that it has brought me. I'm glad I could give back in some way by sharing the joy.

102 episodes into Woe.begone and i finally understand Ty Betterage. He's like a tumblr girlie. He genuinely seems to view retconned timelines as fiction and approaches corrections like fanfic. He ships Mike and Edgar. He likes Mike the way we torture our faves. It's just that the dolls he's playing with have the ability to hate him for it.
