I promised a small headcanon post today so I chose one of the easier ideas from my list to work on. This is my first time writing a headcanon for a character so it's not perfect but I hope it makes sense🤞

It's under the read more cuz it's a little long, please enjoy!!

The context is Logan is a teacher at Xavier's institute and has his own bedroom and bathroom on the second floor

Logan is a light sleeper cuz he's always ready to fight or defend himself

Because of this he doesn't really linger in bed once he's awake

(No doom scrolling on twitter for him)

First thing he does is go wash his face to clear his eyes from crusties

If he didn't already the night before he takes a shower instead (his showers could take up to an hour if he happens to come home covered in viscera)

He's actually quite particular about how he looks

He's not conceited but he has a certain way he likes to look or else he'll be in a pissy mood all day (what a drama queen🙄)

If his mutton chops or mustache grew in too much he trims them with his claws

He claims it gives him a "rugged" look instead of a clean shave with a proper razor

(It's totally not cuz he's too lazy to keep buying razors for his unruly facial hair that simply grows back way too fast)

He throws on whatever he had planned to wear for the day (he never plans his outfits)

If he's teaching he puts on a simple polo shirt with black jeans

If it's his day off he wears his white tank top with a red flannel left open, blue jeans, and a cowboy hat (that magically stays on his head while he's riding his motorcycle)

Finally he stands in front of his dresser and assesses his hair

He meticulously combs through his hair and shapes the spikes to perfect peaks that aren't too high or low

He uses an ungodly amount of gel because if a single hair is out of place there's a much higher chance that he'll kill somebody that day😓

Once this diva is finished in his room he finally heads downstairs for breakfast (and to strut his stuff in front of Jean and Scott)

(No he doesn't make his bed because he believes that he's going to come home and mess it up anyway)

(Yes Charles has sat there and made him do it while he pouted and grumbled the entire time)

I didn't have any art or merch haul to post last Wolverine Wednesday so for tomorrow what if I try to write small headcanons🤔

I'm not much of a writer cuz usually I'd rather draw and I was only good at writing in school for a grade. Creative writing isn't my strong suit but I'm gonna try anyway cuz I have some of my own Logan headcanons that I could probably draw but I wanna get them down in writing first. I think I'm better at analysis posts but I need to think more for those and they take more time😓

💛💙HAPPY (late) WOLVERINE WEDNESDAY💛💙

My haul came from an event that happened today which was why I had nothing to post yesterday😔

At my local comic shop Josef Rubinstein (the comic artist of the Wolverine with the crazy smile and the one finger pointing) came to sign things and do commissions on the spot so of course I left work early to go see him😁

I brought my Logan movie poster for him to sign and while I was there I bought two prints that he signed too. I commissioned him to sketch old man Logan and it came out so good‼️‼️ (I stood behind him and stared creepily as he drew🤣)

Josef was really nice and funny to chat with while he worked. He even showed me some of his original paintings that he was selling and they were gorgeous. His instagram is just his full name without spaces where he posts comic art and his paintings so you guys can check it out‼️‼️

(I drew on the sketch a little cuz idk his rule on people posting their commissions when he hasn't posted it himself yet)

HUGH WAS AMAZING AS ALWAYS‼️‼️‼️ I actually got a seat a little closer to the stage than last time (unfortunately not close enough to give him a high five or have him take my phone while recording😔). Tbh I'm not super into anything theater or musicals but he's such a good performer I was definitely seated through every song I didn't know the words for😁 Plus he does Fly Me to the Moon which is my favorite old song of all time and in such a nice suit too. Here's my one unflattering photo I took of him🤤

The Peace he Finds in You

Okay I have no idea why I always get the inspiration to write in the ass crack of dawn but here have this little imagine as a tiny side quest from something I'm working on :)

I think Logan wouldn't be big on PDA when it comes to really any type of relationship. Hugs and kisses don't happen much in public (though he does love holding your hand).

But when you two are alone? And especially when it comes to sharing a bed?? He's a koala. You can't peel him off of you.

I feel like he's the type of person to really enjoy spending time together, and by together I mean just close to one another, even if you're doing different things. Just the quiet intimacy of sharing a space with you, of hearing your calm breaths, feeling your shoulder next to his or seeing your tiny smile whenever he looks towards you is so comforting, it's like the biggest luxury in the whole wide world for him to just be near you.

So there's just something magical about the night. About the time when the world goes to sleep, when Mother Nature's breaths even out into something lulling and oh so calming, when everything slows to a stop, except the tiny space of your shared bed and the slow beating of both your heart and his. It's like your pulses sync, like in this very moment you can't tell where his soul ends and yours begins. And God does he feel the need to have you close in moments like these. To have your body in his arms, to have your arms around him in return. To feel your soft exhales against his neck and to feel the warmth of your skin every time me breathes in. To be able to bury his face into your hair and nuzzle any inch of soft skin the tip of his nose can find, to hear your sleepy whines in protest, or tiny giggles in return. To hear anything you whisper to him, to be able to tell you anything, words meant only for you. To hold you tight and have you nuzzle into him, or to be held with care, with love and with longing. To feel like he matters and to make sure you know you matter.

It's in moments like these that the Wolverine really gets to feel peace. The only moments when he feels like a man and not a weapon. The only moments when he lets peace wash over him instead of guilt. The peace he finds in you.

At Radio City to see Hugh rn and I'm so excited‼️‼️ Perks of living in NY is all I had to do was walk a little to take the train. Technically I saw him perform twice already but what's one more time ya know😁
