All they do is talk about players that have "wronged them" in main chat and they constantly get their account standings beat by the mods

Idk if anyone here watches the drama in main chat, but is anyone who does amused to see Kosmo (154448) and Dynamite (The art thief) [138908] jumping down someone's throat for "being rude" and "causing drama" when 90% of what Kosmo says is complaining about players or mods?

They're always in chat raging about the mods being unfair to them, or some player doing them wrong. Then they complain that their messages get removed for no reason, and they're being censored. But the removed messages are shit like "The mods are out to get me!" Or their publicly naming someone and encouraging people to block them. Sure bro. That's definitely not very plainly against the rules that your "brother" claimed to read to you every morning..

They were in chat telling new players that they should beg the other day, even if they get in trouble for it. Because "You shouldn't be afraid to plainly ask for help"

I genuinely wish there was more to like about this game, I used to love it so very much but these days whenever I roll it just feels so boring

Where the the herbalist revamp we were promised at least a year ago(but probably closer to 2-3) why is there still so many bugs and art not showing? We were promised so much and we have basically the same bases but slightly more blue or new marks that are the same but slightly different, new eyes that are a different shade of a color we already had

I feel you anon who said ppl are rude.

I play many other animal sims and my theory on why wolvdenners are rude is because it's a smaller site and the players that tend to stick around already have their friend groups/feel superior to others and are cliquey. A.k.a the louder someone is on wolvden (or anywhere really) typically the ruder they are. Because I've met some nice ppl but you would never find them in main chat and they would mostly stay to themselves and play casually.

Just my personal theory. If I ever rejoin Wolvden I would never chat in main or on forums.

I agree definitely alot of the rules are unclear. But mods typically warn you about it in forum/chat.

Only rarely will the send a VOC violation of Conduct and it's only when you repeatedly ignore them

So you prolly got what you deserved. Wolvden salt bloggers tend to be the most hateful/not listening of mods anyways. We wouldn't be here if we didn't enjoy salt and breaking the rules.

My answer to that is they had a very similar unique texting style and an admin lowkey confirmed that they were the same person and would be given appropriate action against considering I screenshotted all the evidence I had against the person both from when they were modding and when they were off mod and talking in chat (no, I don't have the screenshots now. I'm not even on the site anymore)

And yes, admins can see which moderator does what. Moderators are unhidden to them.

See, I also know from my own experience with modbox that screnshots are not accepted as evidence. You need to be able to submit links to the relevant dms or forum posts.

While I agree that the rules for the forum that apply to all of wolvden, like no advertising in your name, should be made a part of the CoC, the rule about only posting an advertisement every 10 minutes Is written plainly in the CoC.

Do not spam the boards or chat.

Examples of spamming are as follows:

Posting the same topic on multiple boards

Posting the same topic multiple times on the same board

Posting the same reply multiple times in the same topic

"Private" or 1-to-1 conversations (please utilise the Private Messaging system for this)

Bumping topics (please utilise the Bump Thread button for this)

Excessively posting in chat

Linking to a forum topic or wolf page in Main Chat more than once per hour

Excessive capital letters in consecutive posts

Excessively advertising in chat, e.g. posting ads for the same asset or service more than once per 10 minutes

The thing about waiting a full chat page to post your ad again is to avoid spamming. Your ad is still visible when people look at the chat if a full page hasn't passed so there's no reason to post it again. I've done this by accident a few times because I didn't actually scan the chat and see if it had poofed yet. They USUALLY just delete your line and send a green message telling you to be more careful and not spam. If you got a CoC notification sent to you about this, it's because you've been slapped with the green message multiple times and just keep breaking that rule. They don't go out of their way for a CoC notice if it's a one time thing. Maybe try listening when you get gentle reminders and you won't end up with them in your notifications, giving you the scolding you earned.

And no. This isn't specifically written on the CoC page. Its a kinda sub-rule to the 10 minute wait period which IS written in there. They don't have all of these sub-rules listed because that would make the CoC page into a CoC 12 Book Series and people already have a TLDR attitude about it.

I'd ditch that friend honestly. Copying your stuff word for word ain't cool.

Additionally, I'd refrain from making "friends" in wolvden. Every one of my "friends" there turned out to be pretty bad people who just friended me for items.
