A recent report reveals a devastating link between child marriage and fragile states: girls living in extremely fragile countries are twice as likely to marry.

Fragile states are those where governments lack sufficient control over key responsibilities such as creating and enforcing laws, managing the economy, and providing essential services to ensure the safety and well-being of their populations.

According to a report by “Save the Children,” nearly 32 million girls and adolescents are living in emergency situations.

Every girl deserves to grow, learn, and dream freely. Yet millions of girls around the world face conditions that deny them these fundamental opportunities.

In some countries, social and economic hardships increase the likelihood that girls are pushed into roles they are not ready for, depriving them of education, well-being, and full development.

Education, health, and safety are rights, not privileges. From the **Woman Scream 2025 Festival**, we raise our voices through poetry, activism, and art to shine a light on this reality and plant the seeds of hope. Together, we can inspire change.
