rewatching logan and fuck it’s got me feeling a lot of things- but one thing in particular i’ve been thinking of is how laura must feel around wades logan

thinking about laura who when she finally bonds with him, when they finally let each other in begins to act more like her child self than anything. it’s not quite age regression, but it definitely toes the line.

logan accepts her with open arms, he’s spent too long running from the tight feeling of longing in his chest when he looks at her. instead he leans into it, allows her to experience the childhood she could never have.

he lets her help him cook, giving her smaller tasks and praising her with gentle hair ruffles and extra treats during dessert. it’s almost healing for him too, in a way. he was never a child, always a weapon. and with his new family he feels younger, rejuvenated.

they love each other so much

About 8, I think? I use a lot of things to help me with editing, I have a dictionary on standby and I have browser extensions that make it easier to find synonyms or rearrange the sentences that sound off. The process definitely gets monotone, though.
