Safe at home!
We arrived home safe and sound last Friday (March 27, 2020). We are now one week into a two week self quarantine. Thanks to all of you who followed this blog. It truly was a memorable journey and we enjoyed sharing the experience with you!!! April 3, 2020.

We're finally on our way home. A charter plane will take us to Madrid, then Newark, then home. We have a long way to go but we hope to be home Thursday night. March 25, 2020.

We are still on the ship. We have experienced three cancelled flights. Viking chartered a plane to take us all to Newark and get connecting flights from there but that fell through as the plane is still in Madrid. We are waiting to learn what's next. The people working on getting us home must be exhausted. We are fine but unsettled, not knowing what the future holds. The staff continue to smile and treat us so well. They had a beautiful farewell lunch for us yesterday. Then we learned we weren't leaving after all. When we know more, we'll post. Hope to see you soon! March 25, 2020.

BREAKING NEWS!
We found out last night that plans have changed. We are now docked in Muscat, Oman. Tomorrow we arrive in Dubai where all non US and Canadian citizens will disembark. We will then head for the east coast of the US - port TBD. ETA in the US is currently April 18. Stay tuned. March 20, 2020.
