Someone copy pasted my fic

Someone notified me that someone ripped off one of my fics and was pretending it was theirs. I've asked the person to take their fic down but they haven't responded yet.

This is the side by side comparison of first my fic and then theirs.

They changed up a few words, but the fic is basically the exact same throughout the entire story same as my fic. This is the person who took it and seeing as they're in the nevermore fandom too, I'm tagging the fandom so that they will see this and take their story down.

It is never okay to steal someone's fic and pretend it's your own. Learn to write like the rest of us do.

character playlists always should have the following:

song that is pretty accurate to the character’s story

song that doesn’t fit the character at all but i was thinking about them while listening to it on loop

song that has one or two lines accurate to the character’s story

song that just kind of is the character’s vibe

song that i desperately wish they would listen to because i personally like it

song that fits the character so well that it’s scary

unsure why this song is in the playlist but it’s so ingrained in my mind as 'part of the playlist' that it would feel weird to remove it

Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.

And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.

It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.
