Took me a while to see into the Spider-Verse, but once I did, I came to the swift conclusion that it was the most amazing Spiderman movie I’d ever seen.
I guess it’s make sense that Peter Ramsey had a hand in that. I’m starting to love this guy.
Okay does anyone remember Peter Ramsey, the director of Rise of the Guardians (2012)? He was the first black director of a major animated film.
And now he’s directing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse starring Miles Morales, a half-African American and half-Puerto Rican teenager! It must feel amazing for him to direct a movie where the protagonist looks like him.
Rise of the Guardians is legit one of my favorite movies ever. Like, everything about it is absolutely perfect
“Darkness. That’s the first thing I remember. It was dark, and it was cold… And I was scared. But then… then I saw the moon. It was so big and it was so bright. It seemed to chase the darkness away. And when it did, I wasn’t scared anymore.”
Massive kudos to the show Unbelievable. It was hard to watch, but I was mostly hesitant because I didn’t want to see women brutalized for eight hours. Luckily, the show focuses more on the victims than the assaults.
