I really hate doing this but school is almost starting up again and I was already struggling with three RP blogs, so I’m going to put Jaehee on a seasonal hiatus until December (if my muse doesn’t disappear). I’ll probably come back every now and then when I’m feeling it, but otherwise I’ll be on my main blog which is @bravingskies !

Despite acknowledging the other’s words, worry is still deeply ETCHED onto her features. If Jumin is to find out about this, it could truly be troublesome.

     CRIMSON eyes glance over his shoulder and down to the assistant,  the corner of his lips forming a smile across his face. With a nod of his head in a sign of approval, a soft giggle parted his lips open in response to the kind words. 

     “REALLY? I’m so glad you liked it, Jaehee– !! And thank you for trusting my taste and for keeping me company. I thought you’d rather stay home after working non-stop… Jumin, that guy –” 

------ AH WORK, priorities she must not forget. Yet, she finds it difficult to reject Zen’s request to see a show that he adores - the actor who could easily captivate her on stage is captivated by another... which means it must be good and her point has been proven. A WRY smile surfaces her lips when he speaks of her duties as Han Jumin’s assistant. 

‘   I was right to trust you in your TASTE in films. I have thoroughly enjoyed the acting and the cinematography of it all, it was very... captivating,   ’  she notes before looking at her wristwatch.  ‘  I would’ve been watching movies at home too. I’m glad you invited me to come with you... I’m honored.   ’

DO YOU LIKE WATER – wait !! That was poorly phrased, lemme try again. Do you like gems who can fly ? What about gems who can control WATER – that’s right, any body of water !! —— SHE RAISES A BROW at the other, surprised at the affectionate gesture bestowed upon her. If Jaehee is to be perfectly candid, it is a rarity for others to wish to shower her with affection akin to such. Yet, she does not protest to her touch and instead relishes in the purity, and innocence of it all. Her eyes close blissfully so, feeling the way how Minji plays with her hair, relaxing at her touch.

‘  Apologies if my hair is a little rough. I haven’t been able to master the right amount of conditioner to apply for optimal results.   ’

        Jiae exhales an audible sigh of relief as she reads Jaehee’s response. That’s one obstacle cleared. She’s a little glad Yoosung didn’t approach her about this. He’s so sweet, she might have had to lie to him and tell him that she did love pineapple on pizza. She pulls a face at the mere thought. Jiae is just glad Jaehee is level-headed in all of this. Between the antics of everyone else, it’s nice to have someone around who doesn’t pander to the teasing and conflict.

        【 jiae 】i like pizza on occasion. ^^;         【 jiae 】but I try not to eat too much of it since it’s not very healthy.         【 jiae 】i try to set a good example for my little brother by that, but he’s such a pizza            fiend, i don’t think i’m helping much lol.

----- AMBER EYES FLICKER upon another notification from her phone. She pauses the task on hand, to take a glance at what other messages Jiae has sent to the chat. A gentle smile surfaces her lips as she draws her attention away from the excel sheet on her laptop to the glowing phone screen. 

[ JAEHEE ] I have tried a pizza pastry once. [ JAEHEE ] I was pleasantly surprised [ JAEHEE ] It was better than what I have anticipated. [ JAEHEE ] Do you like pastries, Jiae?

He eyes draw back to the excel sheet before her as she meticulously parse the numbers apart, seeing if there is anything that is missing from the data sheet. So far, none. Obviously it is because she is the one who made the sheet but Jumin always makes sure she triple checks it before handing it off to him.

   LIPS PULL INTO that of a sweet simper, gentle expression laced with    delicate intricacy. her familiar visage softens his heart ;; knowing that she’s    still seated where she so rightfully deserves to be evokes a fluttering within    his gut. “ Hello, Jaehee. You’re as hardworking as you ever are. “

   in his hands are a hot cup of coffee (just as she prefers it) & a pastry. both    are placed on the surface of her office desk, pleasantries leaving his lips.    “ I am. And a treat for you as well. I hope you’re alright with croissants. “

------ COCOA BROWS RAISE upon his entry, intrigue lingering within amber hues as they notice the treats he has brought upon her sphere. She offers him an appreciative smile -- the kindness that she has not earned and yet, delivered upon her. For that, she is grateful for his appearance.

‘   Thank you, V. You are too kind,   ’  she says earnestly, as she wraps her hand around the cup of hot coffee prior to taking a sip from it.  He knows her well, and he is nothing but considerate of those around him.  ‘   Mr. Han should be here in a few more minutes. He’s currently in a meeting with the Chairman.   ’

Never had she been good at small talk, in fact, this is to her disadvantage considering in this line of business small talk is a MUST. However, she also knows to not be pushy in this subject matter. So she waits.

------ UPON ENTERING THE chat room, she notices a barrage of memes sent their direction -- including a multitude of corns in the chat. Confusion plasters her face. It has been a long day and yet, she isn’t sure she has the capacity to handle all of this... nonsense.

After all, he too, is an ASTOUNDING actor -- naturally, he would have an amazing taste in films.   ‘   Thank you for recommending it to me.   ’
