New to tumbler, here is a little bit about me. I was born during the Korean War, I grew up in Oregon. My father was a WW II Veteran, a Chief of Police and my best friend. I grew up preferring to spend time in the back country, hunting, fishing, hiking, bike riding or exploring back roads. I am a 25 year Veteran of the US Navy, US Army and Army Reserves, and a Combat Veteran. I am also a retired nurse, retired due to a medical condition I came down with after my last combat tour. I love walking the beach looking for interesting rocks and glass fishing floats. I am sort of a rockhound and dabble in panning for placer gold. I wander the gravel bars in the rivers in my area when I am able to. I have a small tumbler, two 1/2 gallon tubs and a gallon tub. I have an old 12 inch rock saw that I use on my bigger rocks. I also dabble in nature photography and videography. Also have a passing interest in cryptozoology after having a large rock thrown thru my windshield and at me while fishing on a high mountain lake. That is me and my interests.
