leaks/predictions on kits/teams

okay so. couple thoughts on the future units for march sp and cyrene/elysia. theres a couple options for them to be optimised as units. we already know that

march is going to be remembrance (most likely ice) and shell be the fated all-remembrance dps (new planar set)

cyrene/elysia is supposedly a support unit and was leaked to have a territory. this makes her incompatible with two of the main dps of amphoreus

this can go in 3 ways:

march is remembrance. team comp consists of her, hyacine, rem tb, and last unit. if march doesnt have a territory then cyrene is compatible and could be made the 4th remembrance slot

march or a bis teammate has a territory and thus cyrene is less likely to be remembrance and is instead made a broken harmony

cyrene is not made for any current meta teams at all and is instead the end-of-version harmony with the kit that predicts the next playstyle that will be introduced/shilled

this also brings up the issue of a lack of remembrance units that can be used for an all-remembrance team. obviously march is the main dps and hyacine is the sustain, but that leaves two spots for supports; one of those is rem tb but theyll eventually need to be replaced (most likely by end of amphoreus) so players will have another unit for when tb goes to the next path. two whole units just for march and it makes rem cyrene sound more likely, especially considering we only have 3 named units left for amphoreus and we have general descriptors for all of them (march as rem dps, dh as summon sustain (possibly not rem), and cyrene support)

weve also got until 3.8 for the amphoreus story to end which means up to 6 characters, so 2-3 more character slots that could be filled

i got both tribbie and phainon at e0s1 today and i went from 43k jades (not including extra tickets from gift of odyssey or exchange shop) to 1k

i used my guaranteed on tribbie after losing the 50/50 on anaxa 🙂 and then i lost 50/50 on phainon 🙂 seele is now e1 🙂 ive never pulled on any of her banners 🙂 43k jades with ~45 built pity now under 20k jades with a single limited e0s1 to show for it 🙂 less than 20k jades left 🙂 spent all my undying starlight on pulls for nothing 🙂

i was going to say dots issue is that the devs treat dot as the gimmick of a kit rather than treating it as a damage profile like fua or break, but the more i think about it, i feel like theyre actually trying to expand dot kits a lot. and that led me to what i think the real problem is: dot just doesnt have that much design space to work with in the first place

theyd have to push dot gameplay A LOT to make dot meaningful and actually competitive once dot shill stages cycle out

ive really enjoyed the newest cookie run kingdom update. from a pure narrative/characterization standpoint i think its a tiny bit behind the truth/deceit update but everything else about it really pulls ahead. the themes, influences, and references the passion/sloth update have managed to not just introduce but actually succeed at is really amazing, as well as the fact that it has a thesis that its trying to convey. the truth/deceit update was the only other one to have a strong thesis/point to the story whereas the apathy/resolution and creation/destruction were more simple as Hero Triumphs stories

its so poetic to make hollyberry's foil be eternal sugar because holly berries supposedly taste extremely bitter, which contextually makes sense with the berry of all pains also being bitter, opposing ES's overbearing sweetness

that being said im shocked they didnt do anything with her abortion dress/anything similar to it because there is such a clear through line for juxtaposition between HB and ES if that had made it into the story
