Fifa has suspended Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales over his conduct at the Women’s World Cup final. Rubiales has been banned from all football-related activity for 90 days and is not allowed to contact Spanish midfielder Jenni Hermoso or her “close environment”.

The player said she was "vulnerable" and "the victim of an aggression" as she and the rest of the Spain team announced they will not play any further matches until the "federation leadership is removed".

A total of 56 players, including all of the 23-strong World Cup-winning squad, signed a joint statement after Mr Rubiales -the president of Spain's football federation - refused to resign following his controversial kiss at the final.

Me again who sent the ask about the kiss lol. I gotta be honest, when I watched the match, I didn't see it and I only just read about it a few hours ago and I was shocked and didn't wanna believe it at first. Luis also made, like, a "joke" and told the girls that they're flying to Ibiza as a celebration but also added something like "to celebrate our wedding" (our as in his and Jenni's). I literally can't with that guy, just seeing him is enough to make me gag, but then also seeing something like that is just wayyy to far.

Hey there! I'm new to your page and I really love your fics<3 I also saw that you made a few posts about the spanish soccer team (women) and I have a question. Did you see video where Luis Rubiales (the RFEF president) kissed Jenni Hermoso while the girls got their medals and if so what do you think about it? Because in my opinion it's a biiiig no go, especially because Jenni didn't consent to it and after that, in a live stream, she even said that she didn't like it.

Feel free to ignore this ask, no hard feelings, but I just wanted to ask someone about it because I wanted to know how other people react(ed) to it.
