Hii, hope you're doing well!❤ I'm here to ask for a request (if they are open, if not, just ignore this) for Miles (both the spiderman and the prowler). Okay so, the reader (can be female or gn) is best friend with both Mileses(idk how to write names in English in plural, sorry) and in the Earth 42! Miles' (the prowler) she/they died (how optimistic) before he became prowler but, in Spiderman! Miles' universe she's/they're alive. 42!Miles is in love with her/them and very sad 'cause she's/they're dead. The Spiderman! Miles is not in love with them since he met Gwen and fell in love with her. Also, the reader is super - duper smart and she/they help(s) the Spider Society sometimes with technology and etc for money, but it's not a spider person themselves. So, when Miles Spiderman goes to the wrong universe , the reader also goes there and when Miles (spider) wakes up, she wakes up also tied to a beating thing(idk what's it's name) and she's like "Nah, idk, I can't do pretty much without my tech and you took it" and just chill and calm, not caring pretty much about the situation since she/they can't change it (and if u can, please insert a word fight between Miles the prowler and the other Miles, where the prowler is like "She's a very good person, they did so much for both us, and is alive in your universe and still you choose to fall in love with a person who you may not even see again tomorrow and weren't there for you in your worst time?" And the spidey just tries to convince the prowler to let him go to his universe to save his dad) Thanks and sorry for a request this long 😭(and sorry if u didn't understand something, English isn't my first language) ❤❤

A haze hung heavily over your eyes, clouded your vision as you tried to wake up and ignore the harsh throbbing at the back of your skull. Had you hit your head on something? You couldn’t even remember what had happened…
You followed Miles home. What he wanted to do had been dangerous and risky and could destroy everything both of you knew.
But it was Miles. All the times he’d had your back, both in and out of this dimension… you couldn’t leave him to fight this kind of battle by himself. After stepping through the portal, you’d only had a short period when you could look around before something hit you.
You flexed your fingers, surprised to find your arms restrained.
Alright. Damage control then. You could feel the leather pressing against your back so that must mean you weren’t tied to a wall or anything like that. A little shuffling revealed that it was movable to maybe a punching bag?
Which meant you should be able to rotate a little if you just adjusted your weight and… there.
The punching bag swung around as you slowly came to see two expressions staring at you – one panicked and uncertain while the other appeared an uncertain mix of neutral and confident.
But both versions were the same person. Miles.
And they both seemed very surprised you’d woken up.
“I didn’t think I would see you here,” you said, forcing your voice to work so you could croak out something and break the silence. “Uh… either of you, I suppose.”
Quick thinking made you aware of a few small problems with your current predicament. Perhaps largest of which you could see in the purple lighting surrounding you. The lair of the prowler and given the clothing choices of the new Miles, one you might know better than you wanted to.
“She’s alive.”
It was said so simply. Without question or thought. Yet it hit like a punch into your stomach as the implications of the words dug much deeper than you expected.
“Am I not meant to be?”
The Miles you didn’t know, shrouded in darkness and purplish-green hues stepped forward to get a clearer look at you. Something unnatural hung in his expression – it worried you how blankly he watched you. “No,” he eventually said. “No, you’re not meant to be alive in this dimension.”
The twisting feeling in your gut got a thousand times worse as you stared at him. What was that supposed to mean. Had you died here?
“Well,” you said. “I don’t think I’m meant to be dead in my dimension so have no plans to change that.”
“Why did you follow me?”
This time, the question came from the Miles you knew. The one who you’d spent countless hours speaking to. Yet he looked at you as though you’d betrayed him by following him through the portal. Maybe he thought you had.
“Nobody else knows where I came,” you explained. “They… they’re too occupied with everything else to waste time on me.”
“You should have stayed where you were safe,” the new Miles said and you felt like a tennis ball with how much you were being spoken to by both. “This dimension isn’t where you’re meant to be.”
“I didn’t really know that,” you complained. “I don’t routinely look at every dimension and see if I’m alive or not in it. All I did was follow Miles.”
“Then he shouldn’t have let you follow.”
Miles looked rather offended at his counterpart’s comment. “I didn’t even know she was going to do that. How was I meant to stop her if I only found out she followed me a few seconds ago?”
“You should pay better attention.”
You couldn’t help but wince at that, feeling almost validated in your own insecurities regarding the lack of consideration provided by Miles most days. Ever since he learned about the other Spidermen, things had felt somewhat strained between the two of you. After all, you couldn’t swing through the city with him or relate to all the secrecy and experiences of the superheroes.
“I have to get home somehow,” your Miles finally said. “Both of us do, alright? If you let us go, we can help save our dad.”
“Your dad. How is she alive?”
“What?”
The new Miles gestured to you and slowly turned to face Miles. “Did you save her?”
“From what?”
“Then she must not have been with you when it happened. Why? What were you doing instead of spending time with her?”
You were starting to get very confused but something else caught your attention. The build-up of Miles’ electricity, flowing steadily from his touch against the chains. He had a plan to escape from this – if only the other him didn’t notice.
“When did it happen?” you asked. “Maybe I can tell you.”
The date he said meant little to nothing to you. It was fairly recent and if you remembered well enough, you didn’t even see Miles that day. You’d meant to but by the time you arrived, he’d already been long gone with –
“You were with Gwen,” you said and then hurried to add. “She’s another… friend of ours.”
“Another friend from a separate dimension.”
Okay, so there was no getting around that. You nodded slowly, trying not to show how sensitive the topic was. You liked Gwen well enough even though she rarely truly socialised with you.
The new Miles scoffed. “So, he abandoned you for somebody new but I don’t see her here. She didn’t follow him.”
The awkward silence he caused nearly made you wince. Gwen’s betrayal still ran deep in Miles and you knew this topic wasn’t a great choice for right now. Still, you needed to keep speaking to maintain the Prowler’s attention so he wouldn’t notice the escape plan.
“Gwen had other things to deal with,” you told him. “And I wasn’t abandoned.”
“Do you believe that?”
You didn’t. But you weren’t exactly going to turn the attention back onto your Miles right now so you gritted your teeth.
“I’m sorry I died here,” you said.
“Obviously. You weren’t meant to. I tried… I don’t understand how it’s fair that you get to be alive in the dimension where another version of me forgets that you exist. And then you’re sent here and he gets angry at you. Strange.”
A break in the façade of the Prowler. For a second, the emotionlessness changed and you saw an actual response to how you felt.
“I’m not angry,” Miles defended himself. “I just need to get home quickly, alright? This is more important –“
“No, it’s not.”
As though a cruel joke in your favour, you saw a flash of something in the new Miles that you’d always wanted from the one you knew. The look of a person who could have once returned your feelings.
And so, you hesitated in speaking and he turned back to your Miles just as an explosion of electricity sent chain links in every dimension.
For a second, you met his eyes and watched him mouth that he’d be back right before he bolted for one of the windows. Glass shattered everywhere as his counterpart shook his head and bolted after him.
You groaned and rested your head against the punching bag, left alone in a warehouse.
The chains loosened around you and you had only a second to react before you landed on the ground. You winced and rolled your shoulders, turned around to find the last person you ever expected to.
“Come on,” Aaron says. “Boy wouldn’t want you to stay here and wait for him.”
You didn’t know which one he was referring to but without many options, you followed him into a harshly different world to the one you grew up in.

Nobody ever lied to you and said superhero work could be considered safe. You’d spent enough hours waiting at the window for Pavitr to come home safely to know how dangerous his work truly was.
Sometimes he came home injured but you always preferred it to him not coming back at all. He’d never done it before but the possibility remained.
This time though, you’d been out on your errands when you heard the fighting. Looking for him may put you in danger but you sometimes found you really enjoyed watching him fly through the city. His mastery of his skills impressed you so much.
You should have left.
Villains weren’t instantly recognisable to you by name alone but whoever this was, their armour could take a beating Pavitr couldn’t. The hit caught his side no matter how fast he spun through the air and sent him crashing down the streets.
Your scream sounded foreign to your own ears. It caught in your throat as the fight took a turn for the worst and, against your better judgement, you began to run toward him. You needed to do something. Whether or not you could actually help barely ran through your mind.
You cared little about safety as you scrambled through the streets. The rest of the city turned to nothing more than a hum in the back of your mind as you fought to reach him.
And when you did, the icy grip around your heart just about killed you.
The blood stained through his suit in an awful variation of the normally gorgeous red. Debris blocked your path forward and pinned him down. Through where his suit had torn, the deep cuts twisted your stomach and you covered your mouth to avoid a sob.
His eyes met yours and, for just a second, you saw them start to close before you woke yourself up with a yell.
The blankets stuck to you and wrapped you up, twisted around until you felt trapped in your own bed. You thrashed and fought to get air into your lungs, ignoring the hot streams of tears that left tracks across your cheeks.
Why was your chest so sore? Did you hurt yourself or did the dream… the dream brought back a flood of memories and you brought your hand to your mouth as Pavitr’s voice finally broke through your panic.
The heartbeat pounding in your chest quietened as he sat up and caught your hand. He pulled you closer until you leaned against his chest, soothing circles rubbed into your back.
“Hey, you’re okay. You’re okay. It was only a dream.”
You buried your face into his shoulder. He almost toppled thanks to the force as you almost launched across the bed and into his embrace.
He whispered soft endearments into your hair as he held you close, soothing you with gentle speaking.
It had only been a dream. What actually happened that night hadn’t been anything amazing. Pavitr arrived home with a slight limp – a small injury from rubble that’d been burning for the past hour or so. You’d wrapped a bandage around his thigh while he made jokes and told you the story.
He’d been alive. He’d been real.
“What happened while you were sleeping?” he asked and his voice grounded you in a way nothing else could. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” you managed after a few deep breaths. “And you?”
He gave a confused hum. “You’re the one who had the nightmare.”
You could hear his heartbeat in your chest, strong and healthy. It reassured you again and again that the best person in your life wouldn’t disappear before you could spend more time with him.
He smoothed a hand over your hair as your shaking slowed. “Did something happen to me?”
“Do you think it’s worth it?”
“What is?”
“Being Spiderman.”
A moment of silence passed. He sighed when he made the connection between your bad dream and the danger he put himself through daily. Nobody gave the responsibility to him – he’d chosen it.
“You could be safe,” you whispered. “What if you left all these problems for the police? You could stay with me and not have to worry. A very selfish part of my heart wants that.”
He hugged you tighter against his chest; wrapped you in the perpetual warmth he emitted.
“If I don’t help with these problems, the city becomes more dangerous for everybody,” he explained, voice still thick with sleep. “Then you could get hurt and I’d never be able to help you. It’s not right.”
“But I don’t want you to get hurt either,” you whispered. Your fingers brushed over the bandages wrapped tight around his leg. “What if one day, it’s not something we can fix?”
He laughed and though you tried to ignore how forced it sounded, you couldn’t pretend. “Don’t worry. Being Spiderman is far from easy. It’s like a trend that I’ll always win in the end, even if I get a little hurt.”
“But I don’t want you to get hurt at all. Even if you win.”
The injury to his leg had been an accident. The villain knocked him around a little before getting defeated but Pavitr ended up landing on a piece of rubble. Trivial really. It wouldn’t even leave a scar.
But you hated how sick he looked when you tended to him. Worried about the way he stumbled into the walls when he tried to explain what happened. You’d struggled to get him to tell you how bad it was because he didn’t want to cause concern – always focused on himself over and above everybody else.
It’s one of the things you loved about him even when you were worried sick.
“You have to promise me you’ll always come back,” you said. You tightened your arms around him, held him closer than ever. “No matter what.”
Pavitr smiled. “Always. I’m always safe, you know that.”
He pressed a kiss to the top of your head, then another to your tear-stained cheek. A third fell on your nose and a fourth on your closed eye. You laughed and this only motivated him to kiss you more, fluttering small pecks across your entire face until your side hurt and the dream slipped from your mind.
“I’ll always be okay,” he promised you.
You knew he couldn’t say something like that with full surety. Anything could go wrong when he spent most of his days fighting people who could throw entire cars at his head.
But you also knew being Spiderman meant more to him than simply helping people because he had to.
You only hoped he could stay safe for the rest of time.

If I were to say write a multiple chapter Hobie x Reader story set before the movie with plenty of hurt and comfort. And maybe even before he joins spider society?
And the reader would be from his dimension then and it would explore more about his backstory?
If I wrote that... would you guys want to read it?

Pavitr doesn’t give you the impression of somebody who’s particularly jealous and for the most part, he isn’t. He’s secure about who he is and why he managed to get your attention in the first place. He’s Spiderman. What more could he do to prove he’s the best person for you?
But while he doesn’t worry most of the time, there are occasions when his worrying thoughts catch up with him. Especially when his responsibilities keep him out late at night and he struggles to find time to see you.
Those nights, he can’t always stop his thoughts from running away with him, wondering if you’d rather spend time with somebody rather than waiting eternally.
When you smile at him the next time you see him though, it gets rid of all his concerns.
Other people almost never cause jealousy for him. He trusts you and almost everybody you hang out with so there’s no reason to feel jealous. Except for the day when you receive an introduction to some of the others in the spider society. The difference is that here, there are many other people who are far better at being spiderman than he is.
He's not jealous about the older spiders who are clearly not somebody you would be interested in but there are others with great charisma and talent. People you’d likely be interested in.
But he’s obvious.
You can tell when he keeps glancing at you, watching for your reactions and going through a deep conflict. He really wants you to get along with his friends but he’s also hoping you don’t become more impressed with them than him.
If you pepper him with kisses and focus all of your questions on him, the worry quickly fades and never returns again.
The only time he gets irritable about it is when his or your signs are ignored. If somebody continues to push, he will drape himself over your shoulders and demand your attention, fully ignoring the person who’s trying to flirt with you despite knowing that you’re with him. It’s not jealousy though. More agitation.
He does make you jealous on occasion though.
It’s not purposeful but he often doesn’t realise how his friendliness and general positivity can be taken as flirtatious You understand, of course. That’s exactly what drew you to him when you first met.
But it doesn’t mean you’re not going to come up and give him a small kiss, just to make sure everybody knows that he’s not available. He never really understands that you’re doing it out of anything other than affection and will gleefully accept any attention you want to provide.
Slightly selfish motives as they may be, Pavitr is always happy afterwards and everybody else understands that he’s not available for sharing.

Ok ok hear me out- Hobie with a gn!reader that's trying to get into the punk scene but it's difficult because their parents are quite conservative?
I did end up making it so that the reader is just starting to be interested in the punk aesthetic which is leading into the lifestyle but it's not fully explored so I hope you still enjoy it regardless!

The leather hung heavily over your shoulders; the jacket enveloping your form in a sweet warmth. You twisted in every direction and tried to ignore the distaste in your reflection’s expression as you considered how it looked.
With a sigh, you shrugged it off and cast it back over to the chair with a small curse. It never suited you, no matter which outfit you tried it with.
And worse, it’d started losing the comforting scent of your boyfriend.
You pulled off the few pieces of jewelry chosen for your late-night fashion attempt. They’d done nothing to help you feel more comfortable in the look you’d tried.
“What’s with the hate for my jacket? It’s hardly done anything to you.”
You jumped and hit your knee on the desk. The stinging pain didn’t fade as you twisted around to find him lounging across your bed, long limbs draped over his guitar as he watched you.
“Hobie? When did you get here?”
He put the guitar aside and stood, picked up the jacket from where it’d fallen on the chair and brushed it off. “Got ‘ere not to long ago,” he said. “Just didn’t want to interrupt.” He stepped behind you and draped the jacket over your shoulders, palms trailing down your arms to wrap around your waist and pull you into him.
“Interrupt what?” you laughed. “I was just messing around. I steal your clothes all the time.”
Having him so close relaxed any doubts you’d had. You closed your eyes and leaned into him, adored the way he cradled you.
He hummed in agreement. “It suits you.”
“Maybe.”
It was hard to force your brain to agree with him. You desperately wanted it to be true and for so long, you’d been stealing little pieces of his style. Maybe one day, you could unwrite the part of your brain that struggled to accept it.
He picked up the choker you’d been packing away, turned it around in his fingers. “I grabbed this one for you, didn’t I?”
“I wouldn’t have the guts to buy it for myself,” you admitted.
He huffed, breath tickling your ear as he did so. “What makes you think I bought it?”
You laughed a little. You should have known better indeed. In the very early days of your relationship, Hobie warned you that he wasn’t a fan of attachments. He didn’t do gifts or labels or anything like that.
The first time he showed up with small items, you’d been surprised with how quickly he went back on his claims. But he’d never liked consistency much either.
“You always put this stuff on late at night when nobody can see it. It’s a downright shame.”
“It doesn’t suit me.”
“Nonsense.”
“It doesn’t though,” you argued though you couldn’t help but relax into the warmth wrapped around your back. “It’s probably because I’m not used to seeing myself in that way. I wasn’t really raised to think it’s the best style ever.”
“Doesn’t matter if it looks good or not anyway,” he said. “That’s not the point of it. ‘sides, I know you like it on me.”
You laughed. “Hobie, you’ve been a model before. I think anything looks good on you.”
You twisted a little, hoping to get a look at his face though he seemed insistent on keeping his chin resting on the top of your head.
“So? Doesn’t change that if you like how I look with it, you’ll wear it even better.”
You looked down at the jacket wrapped around your body. The leather and chains, the spikes on your shoulders and the patches at random points. Everything about the aesthetic spoke to you but still…
“My parents would kill me if they saw me wearing this,” you teased.
“Who cares what they think?”
You sighed. “I know I shouldn’t but I can hear their voices in my head so often.”
He moved away from you by a small step and brought the choker up to attach it around your neck. You tilted your jaw up to help him. His fingers brushed across sensitive skin, sent small sparks of heat pooling into your stomach as he attached the tiny chain.
He met your eyes and smirked. Your heart fluttered a little and you reached up to touch the choker.
“Looks amazing,” he said and ran his thumb over the point of the spike. “Suits the jacket too. We’ll find you a pair of boots while we’re out.”
“Out?” you repeated.
He shrugged. “We have to make sure you fit in with the scene tonight.”
You frowned at him, finally turning around fully so you could face him. It really wasn’t fair for him to look so attractive when you were trying to focus. “Go out? It’s almost one in the morning.”
He shoved his hands in his vest. “Time is a construct. Who says we can’t go and find something fun to do now?”
“Where would we even go?”
“It’s a surprise,” he said. “But there’s a dress code.”
“Doesn’t sound like your kind of place.”
“Sometimes I can make a sacrifice or two.”
His eyes always burned with a fierce flame behind them, filled you with confidence even when you found yourself lacking in it. He’d always have your back even if you worried too much about what others might think.
“I don’t really have anything that suits this jacket.”
“You don’t need to. Wear whatever you want.”
You wished it was as easy as he made it out to be. Sometimes you thought you could entirely stop caring but it wasn’t as straightforward as you’d hoped.
He caught you off guard with a quick kiss to snap you from your concerns. “You’re going to look stunning in whatever you wear. Who cares what anybody else is thinking if that’s the truth.”
You couldn’t stop the smile on your face at that. “You’re far too sweet, you know that, right?”
He chuckled. “Don’t think many people would agree with you on that one. Just the opposite really but let’s get you ready. We’re going to find somewhere fun tonight.”

Stubborn
Received a request through a reblog for something related to Miguel's fangs. It's not exactly focused on them but they're definitely part of it!

━━━━━━♡♥♡━━━━━━
“Get your fingers away from my mouth. Are you a child?”
You pouted and withdrew your hand, thwarted in your attempts to sneakily lift the corner of your boyfriend’s lip. “I want to see them,” you defended. “They’re so nice to look.”
“If you’re that bored, I will find you something more productive to do,” he reminded you and twisted his face further from your reach. “I’m not in the habit of allowing people to lounge around my workspace for the fun of it.”
“Can my something productive be getting you to smile?”
“Absolutely not.”
You sighed and sank further into your chair, head tilted back to the ceiling you stared at far too much. “You said you would be finished with this by now.”
“It was a possibility but it required far more attention than I expected. It won’t be much longer.”
Miguel’s desire to be busy never surprised you. From the day you’d met him to the day you kissed him for the first time, you always understood why he obsessed in the way he did. It didn’t hurt you but you worried – more about his own health than anything else.
When was the last time he’d even eaten?
“You know, I actually do have a job to get done,” you said. “I’ll be back soon. Try not to get too big of a headache by scowling at that screen.”
“I know.”
The grumbled words didn’t help your concerns. You cast a glance over your shoulder in his direction. The harsh artificial lighting of his office highlighted how he hunched over his work, shone off his suit in a piercing way.
It really couldn’t be good for him to stand like that.
Your first stop took you over an hour to reach and you still didn’t doubt for one second that Miguel would still be working on your return. Though he cared little about food quality lately, you insisted on getting him something healthy and what you knew he would enjoy.
If it took you ages to find, you didn’t mind too much. You knew it wouldn’t impact on your plans going forward.
Around the side of Miguel’s office, a few wires connected just behind a broken section of the wall. You had to hold your breath to squeeze half into it in order to reach them.
“This is a very bad idea.”
You jumped, hit your head against the wall in your startle, and groaned in the unexpected pain. Lyla watched with a humoured smirk from where she’d appeared, projected out of your personal watch.
“It’ll be fine,” you said. “He won’t even know it was me.”
“He will,” she corrected. “But that’s not what I’m worried about. I know you can handle Miguel yourself but I think you shouldn’t play with electricity.”
“When you asked me to get him to take a break, you should have known I’d need to resort to some extreme measures.”
She sighed and waved a hand for you to continue. You squeezed your way further in so you could reach the wire that fed his office and a few of the surrounding halls. Hobie showed you it wouldn’t turn off the rest of the complex when he did it last time as a joke.
“I’ve already backed up everything he’s working on. If he throws you out, I take no responsibility for it.”
You grinned cut the wire. Everything plummeted into darkness around you, computers shut off loudly and the ever-present hum stopped. You grinned proudly and dropped your cutter back into its space before you headed to the office.
You realised one of the main problems when you walked through the doors and spotted him on his platform. The one that wouldn’t move now without electricity.
“Wow,” you said loudly. “Can you believe the timing of this?”
He turned slowly. The silence stretched thickly between you, your smile a match for his glare. Lyla was right, he knew exactly what had happened.
“Either you have to come down here or find a way to get me up there,” you called. “Because I can’t reach you otherwise.”
You held up the food right as a bright web attached to your chest. It pulled you forward and lifted you into the air as though you weighed nothing. It might not be the first time it had happened to you but you’d never really get used to the sensation of being dragged around.
He steadied you when you landed, his hand rested on your arm until you gained your balance back. His lip curled up ever so slightly as he waited.
“I brought food,” you said and sat down in your chair.
“What did you do?”
“Went a ridiculous distance to get this for you,” you noted. “Do you know how far this place is? And then I got back and the power disappeared. Had to walk here in the dark.”
“Do you know how busy I was? How much you may have gotten lost?”
“I’m sure Lyla managed to get it saved. You can take a break while she finds the fault.”
He loomed above you, leaned down and opened his mouth ever so slightly. Finally, you had an opportunity to see those massive fangs you loved so much. You loved his habit of using them to intimidate. He didn’t even do it purposefully.
“You can’t really be blaming me for the electricity,” you said.
“I’m not stupid.”
You finally placed the packet of food aside, reached up and grabbed the front of his suit so you could pull him closer. You used your free hand to cup his jaw, ran your thumb over his bottom lip. Those fangs really were beautiful. What you’d give to have them showing more often…
“I need you to take a break,” you said. “It might take a while to fix. You may as well give your body a small rest, okay?”
Before you let him go, you pressed a small kiss to the underside of his jaw. He leaned into the touch just enough to let you know you’d been somewhat forgiven for your meddling.
He took the food from you, muttered something about stubbornness, and listened as you spoke about everything you’d been waiting to tell him.

Though you’d met only a few heroes, none really surprised you anymore. They all carried a similar seriousness regardless of their true personalities and most of them hesitated for at least ten minutes before revealing their identities to you.
Except for Gwen’s friend who no sooner landed on the roof and pulled his mask off. “I’m dying,” he complained. “This heatwave is going to end me.”
Gwen laughed. “These suits are awful for the summer. Pav, this is the friend I wanted you to meet.”
Pavitr glanced over at you as though he hadn’t quite realised you were there before but then he smiled, almost stunning you momentarily with how genuine and warm it was. “Hey,” he greeted. “Another spiderman?”
“Something like that,” you agreed though Gwen had kidnapped you on one of your days off.
“Why are you sitting in the sun though?” Pavitr huffed, wincing up at the sky. “At least move to the shade.”
You took him up on the request. Admittedly, you’d been slowly overheating but not wanting to ask Gwen about it yet. The roof didn’t offer much shade beyond a water tower but at least it allowed you to easily find a spot to balance.
Further benefits of having friends who had powers at least meant the laws of physics restricted you less.
“Nobody’s really concerned about their secret identity in this society,” you noted.
Pavitr appeared mildly confused. He looked down at the mask in his hands and shrugged. “Why bother hiding it? Who do you know in my dimension to tell? And even if you do, what’s the worst that could happen?”
Both Gwen and you winced at the familiar words but Pavitr didn’t even notice. He found a spot to rest and tilted his head back, leaning it against one of the legs of the water tower.
A strange fluttering in your chest triggered. You turned your attention away to avoid staring too much; a hidden weakness for people who were ridiculously attractive.
“What’s the plan?” you asked. “We just going to hang out?”
“I’ll give you the tour when the sun stops trying to kill me,” Pavitr said. “Or when something happens?”
Gwen sighed but the familiar smile on her face gave it less weight. “Something will show up. It always does.”
True to her words, the luck of Spiderman never failed to provide a tragedy to break up an otherwise boring day. Your tour of the city came around while chasing after a petty thief who’d somehow built himself a speed enhancer. Honestly, you weren’t paying much attention to him.
Pavitr kept drawing your eyes as he showed off new things in his city. He stopped you so often Gwen grew tired and went on ahead.
For all that effort though, Pavitr remained distracted while securing the thief and ended up taking a solid hit to the jaw for it. You winced when he took his mask off after, not liking how the dark bruise crept up the side of his cheek.
He groaned. “Bro, my aunt is going to kill me when she sees this.”
You laughed and from that day forward, Pavitr’s dimension turned into one of your favourite places to stop over at when you had time. Partially because it was fun but mostly because of the Spiderman guarding the city.
You couldn’t help staring when he excitedly told you about his adventures, couldn’t stop yourself from lingering longer than you should have when the time came to say goodbye. Something about him caught you and refused to let your attention wander anywhere else.
When he asked, you told him you came for the dogs.
It wasn’t until work and responsibilities kept you away for almost two weeks that you realised how much you’d been visiting.
Without being there, you grew uneasy and restless. A strange loneliness hung in your heart without having Pavitr there and you kept wanting to send a message or visit though you didn’t know how welcome it would be.
You were friends.
But it didn’t help you remember when you finished your work and immediately opened a portal to be met with a tight hug.
“Hey! You’re back!” Pavitr wasn’t in his suit, instead dressed in casual clothing that had no right looking so good on him. “It’s been so boring without you here.”
The sudden tackle caused an aching pain through your leg, a reminder of how your work hadn’t run smoothly. You didn’t say anything though, knowing it might end your interaction early.
“It’s great to be back,” you said. “Everything got so busy suddenly but it’s handled now. Did the city survive without me?”
Pavitr grinned. “Yeah, but I nearly didn’t! I was going crazy without somebody to talk to. It’s going to take me ages to catch you up on everything.”
He wasted no time in launching into a recount of the past weeks; walked you through the streets and eventually through an alley so you could swing onto the roofs with ease.
The sun had begun to set as you reached the top. Its golden rays danced through the sky and lit the city in a stunning light. A warm feeling spread in your heart at the familiar sight – more welcome than even your own home now.
“You alright bro?”
You snapped out of your trance to face Pavitr whose stare stuttered your heart.
“I was just thinking how much I missed this place.”
He hummed proudly. “I know, I have the best city in the world. That’s why I hate travelling to other dimensions. They’re so boring.”
You sat on the edge, your face turned to the sun. “It makes me want to stay forever.”
“Why not? It would be way better than you having to go all the time.”
It had been a joke in your mind but that response made you freeze for a second. “It would be less travel,” you said though it sounded strained to your own ears.
Pavitr sat next to you, closer than he usually did and still wearing that easy grin on his face. “Exactly! It makes sense, right? You can stay and pretend you’re not in love with me even more.”
You rolled your eyes. “I’m not in love with you.”
“I don’t believe you.”
He could be teasing you. It felt like a joke in some ways though when you turned to look at him properly, there was a challenge of sorts in his smile. Waiting for your response.
“Awfully arrogant of you,” you said.
He shrugged but leaned closer in, making your breath stop momentarily. “Nope. I just have good eyesight.”
It would take less than a second for you to close the gap. And you really, really wanted to.
He did it for you.
His lips pressed against yours briefly; so quickly you didn’t even realise what had happened at first. The slight flush on his cheeks was your only proof it hadn’t been your imagination.
The silence stretched and then you kissed him back.
He made a soft surprised sound against your lips, one that went straight to your heart. The slow movement brought a lingering taste of chai. The warm press stirred the fluttering of your heart faster still. One of your hands found its way to his jaw, gently cupping it to allow you to lead.
The kiss remained slow. You didn’t need anything more than the heat of his breath as it mingled with your own.
And when you pulled away, you couldn’t hide the stuttering of your breath even if you wanted to. His golden eyes danced as they fell on your lips and he moved back in for one more short peck.
“I’ve been wanting to do that for a very long time,” you admitted. “Since the day I met you.”
He laughed and created a little distance, his shoulder remained against yours. “You should have.”
“Pav, I’d just met you. I think you would find it pretty weird.”
“Nah I’m a chilled guy. I wouldn’t complain if an attractive person kissed me.” He thought about it before conceding. “Though it might be different if it wasn’t you.”
“I’m lucky then,” you said.
The sun sank behind the horizon while you watched, your head falling onto Pavitr’s shoulder.

Hii! Could I request a hobie x reader with a girlfriend who’s in the spider society with him? Possibly during the events of the movie
Hey! Thank you for requesting, this really helped get my inspiration flowing. It's not too long but I hope you enjoy it!

Clattering of a metal can kicked down the street broke through the silence of an otherwise quiet night. You watched it roll along before it disappeared into the frigid shadows. Unfortunate. It’d made for some entertainment as you strolled along the dark streets.
Only smog joined you and Hobie on your walk, somehow present even if everything else had long been deserted.
“All I’m saying is I don’t like how things are playing out,” he said. He shoved his hands in his pockets.
A frozen brush of wind managed to sneak under your jacket and you shuddered. “But that’s nothing new,” you said, teasing him. “The whole organised society never suited you much.”
The corner of his mouth twitched into a smile. “You’re not wrong doll. If this gig didn’t come with you included, I’d be long gone.”
“Don’t make me your reason for sticking around,” you joked. “I couldn’t handle it.”
He kicked a fallen piece of debris as you passed. It rolled beneath a flickering streetlight, briefly shining in a pale orange buzz.
“Nah,” he said. “You’re worth it.”
Even with such an admission, his words twisted in your head. Though you didn’t believe that you alone could tie Hobie to a world he didn’t like, you still felt guilty about it from time to time.
“It’s been getting worse,” Hobie said when the silence dragged on. “He always wants to know every detail from every dimension. Does he really think anybody’s going to bother with nonsense like that?”
You twisted your mouth, unsure how to defend against the truth. “Miguel’s just worried. He’ll calm down when we know where this anomaly is.”
Hobie scoffed. “Don’t even know why we care so much about anomalies. Nothing’s meant to be the same.”
“They’re dangerous.”
“So are you.”
You offered a confused expression; turned only to find your boyfriend suddenly far closer. The warmth he radiated made you want to move entirely into his space.
Your heart picked up its pace and a delicious feeling spread through your body at the promise in his stance.
“Dangerous for who?” you asked.
A soft beeping interrupted whatever may have continued. Two watches blinked in the dreary night, their glow a harsh yellow in an otherwise grungy area. The flicker of irritation made itself obvious in your expression as Hobie stepped away.
“Looks like they need some help.”
“They always do,” you sighed.
He shrugged apologetically and pulled his mask from his pocket though his grin appeared proud as ever. “’s not my fault they’re bad at their jobs. Will I see you at the complex?”
You glanced at your own watch. “Of course. Be safe.”
“You know I don’t follow orders.”
“It’s not an order, it’s a bribe,” you hummed and moved back into his space, palm pressed against his chest and lips close to his own. “Stay safe for me?”
“A bribe? What do I get if I agree?”
You smiled and pushed him toward the portal opening behind him. “We’ll see.”
He left with a laugh and you made your way toward completing your own work. Lyla wasted no time in providing a list of your tasks and you got on with it swiftly. The complex felt busier than ever as you dodged between hundreds of Spidermen.
You worked hard whenever he ran off, determined to distract yourself from worrying. Every time he donned the mask, you had to force yourself to not think about the stunts he’d need to perform – the danger he’d put himself in front of without a second thought to the consequences.
But it didn’t help anybody to worry so you tried not to until he returned.
He was in a great mood when you spotted him arriving back, his walk full of swagger and confidence as he caught your eye. He shot a wink in your direction that sent you blushing and laughing.
The others with him offered awkward waves and you relaxed in the knowledge everything went as well as it could.
Until later when you received a notice ordering every person in the complex to stop Spiderman from escaping.
Alone in your office, you couldn’t be more confused as you turned your chair around. This was something you’d never seen before. Everybody in the complex had a strange truce – no matter what happened.
The door slid open before you could think too much about it and Hobie strolled in.
“I was thinking about what you said,” he remarked before you could ask. “And you’ve got a point. This place doesn’t suit me much.”
You stood up. The alarm continued to blare behind you. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t like being told what to do,” he mused, a small smile on his face. “Neither do you.”
You glanced at your computer screen. Turned off the alarm with the press of a button and allowed silence to reappear. What had happened? Hobie didn’t quit things without reason.
Quit? Just like that, he wanted you to leave the society you’d been invited into. He wanted you to abandon your work without even knowing what exactly caused it.
He moved closer, brushed his fingers against the underside of your jaw and smiled when he saw something in your expression.
“You’re a horrible influence,” you told him.
“I think I’m a brilliant one.”
You leaned into his touch and smiled. “This isn’t over when we walk away.”
He gave a small, breathy chuckle. “Oh, there ain’t a chance. We even have a pit stop to make before we head home.”
Your watch fell heavily onto the table as you dropped it. “You’ve never led me into anything but trouble.”
“That’s one of the reasons you love me.”
