Pathotention
This story idea centers around a fighting game that features 40 playable characters that are based on illnesses and diseases. The first 20 will be based on different types of diseases and illnesses (like, for example, a Shoto based on cold-related diseases and a Zoner based on tongue- or taste-related diseases), while the other 20 will be based on cures and treatments for the respective themes of the first 20, who are meant to be their polar opposites, but they share the same archetypes. The main setting takes place on an island that is also the dormant body of a creator deity, where the illness/disease-themed characters are constantly fighting against the cure/treatment-themed characters for control over the island.

Cognitive Refrain
Aspiring electronic music producer Maksim Grosev and his elderly mentor Nadezhda form a band of heroes to stop a group of rebels from trying to turn their futuristic city back into the past. The main setting is a utopian Y2K-inspired city with Russian motifs and a history that is based on the Russian Revolution and the fall of the Soviet Union. Motivated by a twisted obsession for nostalgia, the antagonists are the descendants of a tyrannical empire that once ruled the city but were overthrown. With guidance from Nadezhda, the cool-headed Maksim uses his sense of rhythm to effortlessly wield a magic axe (with aesthetics and powers inspired by the Slavic god Perun) that was once wielded by his ancestor, who was the leader of the rebellion that overthrew the empire. With concepts that are based on the Hauntology music genre, the antagonist group uses sound-based magic that causes symptoms similar to dementia as it slowly turns the city's inhabitants into mindless slaves (inspired by The Caretaker's album Everywhere at the End of Time, which is themed around dementia and its stages).

A Tale of Gloss and Moss
This story idea centers around the unlikely friendship between a shy troll and a playful robot. The two main settings would be a Goblincore-inspired village that the outcast troll comes from and a Frutiger Aero-inspired city where the robot, who is seen as equally bizarre by the other robots, comes from. I imagine that somewhere during the story, the goblin gets into an accident that would result in him getting turned into a cyborg with the help of the robot. The main themes would be accepting one's true self, especially around others who will still love you unconditionally.
