At this point both red and I can't think of a way to untangle iskall from the story, so at this point consider LoL done.

BUT we still love the world we built, and want to keep playing with the au so maybe in the future we'll see smaller one-shot stories with the Hermits and more.

Most of all I wanna thank @theguardiansofredland for giving me not just the opportunity to tell a story with his characters and fall into this wonderful world, but for becoming a friend so close I consider her a sibling. Five years is a crazy amount of time but I wouldn't trade it for anything if it meant I didn't get to know one of the coolest, most fun, resilent, creative person I've ever met.

So thanks to you all as well, for giving me that chance.

Thanks for the outreach, it's certainly shocking but I am very proud and impressed with the professional way information was handled and disseminated by the hermitcraft group.

Its sad always but we have so many wonderful hermits to cling onto for comfort, as well as the communities we have both with this and so much else.

First of all finally noticed the grave if eremita was also a double entendre cause it's Amos's grave and it was almost the grave of Ex Tris and Apatia

Second of all we learn about Ex’s letters at the end of Family Dynamics we learn about another layer of their messy relationship at the end of Family Dynamics (please imagine italics there)

So my previous what if has been in my head pretty much since the forest of memories adventure because hey its a good branching moment but this one is very new

So what if Dolios never did that dark magic stuff whether he would dress so pretentiously or not is a toss up and depending on if dark magic has anti aging properties or Dolios just aged really well he would look very different would he even go into politics if he did he would probably at least actually do good things instead if killing people and still calling Sor a bad king despite being the one to cause his issues anyways Celia would still be kicking which would be nice not just any angel but an angel with natural light magic is amazing Ex might actually be a hermit if they even got founded

I love speculating alternate timelines it's one of my top 3 favourite activities to do with my favourite stories

If Dolios never fell into dark magic he would be a study mage. Celia would have helped him study and earn/unlock his magic the hard way. He has a love for learning and books and would probably be a nerd living somewhere in Lairyon running a library or something. Most likely married to Celia since she was his only friend and first love. And the world would be at peace.

In my head I imagined Ex noticing the draining occurring and seeing the leyline he realizes "oh fuck it's right here" but is unable to get word out beyond the others on the island,

But honestly moments without explanation are often left for the imagination, so it's genuinely up to you!

how the fuck did Ex know that the obelisk was there there are 2 main paths that can be followed here

number one everything is fine and Ex is a massive nerd and he just knows that the obelisk is there due to it probably being in some old book due to it being the tomb of a guy whose love is the head god but it is about 3000 years old assuming that the time the hermits went to was when Amos was alive and a lot of ancient history from 1000 years ago is gone

or Dolios was there after all the obelisk needs to be corrupted somehow and unless it was corrupted through the leyline that goes to the island then well the underground rebellion is fucked also we dont know where Dolios is only that he isnt in Miliara so well yeah
