I get it bc he saw him in his dreams and stuff and is desperate as fuck but well of course o'briens lying. had a lot of thoughts about the book because i was sooo like "dude we know i dont wanna hear all this im learning nothing". which is the point. however it makes me wonder if winstons hate of women and how stupid they are and how Intelligent He Is Ha Ha is supposed to intentionally influence the reader to start feeling dismissive about the book and then going "well i dont wanna be stupid like julia who doesnt care at all about the book... so let me read all this". i did like the entire ministry of love part it was horrible and also sent me through the same abuse cycle of "oh hes horrible. actually hes ok. no. yes. no." with winston + o'brien but more that theyre having some toxic-codependent-yaoi-tension and then it goes right back to abuse. which is not quite how i should interpret it but they are next level intimate anyways during all that textually. good stuff. i had no clue abt any of it aside from it tried to stay really accurate to real science but my jp prof reccd it to me so i HAD to give it a shot. i like cooper talking about how the earth was very important bc i thought from his previous dialogue that hed be a very "cant wait to get off this rock" type guy. loooveee the theme of love and "the past shadows the future" type stuff. i wouldnt really put demos on my list but i finally played it and it was 1000% better than i expected so i gotta add it. being someone who has never read dracula but was in call with someone who has was very funny things really devolved into "let renfield eat bugs PLEASE or whats the point" which i wholly agree with. the bunny/lion "boldness" thing made me laugh and also roll my eyes. i think id prefer having a toggle to show it (for accessibility) or not bc i dont wanna be reminded that im being a weakwilled little twink when i keep hitting timid bunny options.

As expected i do need the ghost. i like that you can shove him around (though i think being able to shove things through him would be very cute. but its ok bc the corpse-like feeling of him is very nice. can he see thru his real eyes... can we touch the bones and he will feel it or at least have a phantom ((hah)) sensation if he can see us do it... many thoughts are being thunk here.) and that he is so incredibly immediately established to be able to do some dream fuckin AND ALSO nerve-interfacing fuckin you know what i want. if hes not slipping into your skull to play with your senses without actually interfacing with what would cause the senses then whats the point. things to write myself if the game doesnt. that said things are so flirtatious so immediately it really made me laugh.

also very much enjoy the casual transgenderness of it all. demo was good i should go back to do the other bits i didnt see but also what if i play too much and go insane because i want more NOW
