Hey! So the starters are done, and this is me just explaining their names and designs and stuff. Here they are boys!

This little dude is Twiflight! He is a Grass/Flying type, and his starting moves are tackle and tail whip. So, let’s talk about the design. Twiflight and it’s evolutions are based off of a prehistoric bird called the confuciusornis! (Look it up, it’s really cool) It’s vine tails are supposed to mimic the two long tail feathers they have. And that blue stripe is supposed to mimic a baby bib. Most of its feathers are leaves, too. The name is simply just twilight and flight mixed together (a friend of mine actually came up with this, but they don’t have any socials so I can’t link them, thanks Avery!)

And then Twiflight evolves into Grumpawnus! It’s name comes from the words grump, dawn, and confuciusornis. See, it’s the really edgy middle stage a lot of Pokémon have. Anyways, into the design! His green feathers have gone a shade darker, because edgy, and he’s got some cool new eyeshadow, too. Plus, the little bib stripe on Twiflight shifts to look more like a choker. His tails have two leaves now, and he’s got little flower buds growing on his wings! (Love this man)

And lastly, Grumpawnus evolves into Canooster! Holy shit I love this guy! And he’s big too, like 5’+. His colors have gotten brighter again, and he’s grown an extra leaf on both of his tails. And those flowers have bloomed, too! His name comes from confuciusornis, noon, and rooster. If you haven’t noticed, they kind of symbolize sleep. Lemme explain,,, so Twiflight is when you’re like actually asleep, Grumpawnus is when you’ve just woken up, and Canooster is when you’re awake and ready for the day. Love these guys they’re so cute. Oh, and on evolution, Canooster learns its signature move, Blossom Bomb, which deals damage and then sets up grassy terrain.

And for your fire starter, you have Charcolt. The name is just simply char and colt, but it’s also a reference to the Pokégod rumors from back in the day. Charcolt was the rumored hidden evolution to Charizard. Charcolt here is based on the musk ox (widdwe babey uwu). He’s got a fire pattern on his front legs, and the can light the hair on his back on fire, similar to Litten. (I’ll be honest I was really scraping the bottom of the barrel for these)

At level 17, Charcolt evolves into Froxen! It’s name is just frost and oxen, and it’s now a Fire/Ice type. It has grown some horns, including two that are made of ice! It’s other horns are just like normal horns, but it can set them on fire. He’s also a little man now, so he’s grown a beard.

And at level 37, Froxen evolves into Charost. The name is just char and frost. He’s grown some ice spikes on his back, too. He’s got some thick hair like real musk oxen, and he learns his signature move upon evolution, too. Frostburn deals damage and then has a 50/50 chance to either burn or freeze.

And now, for my favorite, the water starter! This is Finescent! He’s based on a bottle nose dolphin, and his name comes from fin, finesse, and iridescent. He’s a spoiled bastard and I love him.

And Finescent evolves into Finload! Thicc boy’s name comes from fin, load, loaded, and Finland, because Europe and kings and stuff. His tail is shaped like a fork because he thicc, and he’s got some jewels and shit on him because rich boy. Plus he’s got a new fancy horn.

And finally, Finload evolves into Afflufinza! I love this guy’s name, it comes from affluent, fin, and affluenza. The blue on him has gotten a bit darker, along with the pink on his tail. He’s got a much larger horn too. He’s also replaced the jewels with pure gold, because again, rich bitch. He also learns his signature move on evolution. Weapons drawn raises his attack stats depending on his move set. If he has two physical and special attacks, both stats go up by two, and so on.

And there you have it! All of the starters in the Kaydon region are done. I’ll be posting more designs soon, so keep an eye out for those.

Hey this is like an introduction post I guess? Kaydon is my fakemon region I’ve made like a week ago at the time of writing this. I’ve made a couple of designs for mons, and I’ve started to work on gym leaders and the professor of the region. The starters will be posted soon, I just have to come up with names. Thanks guys!
