I think one reason why I didn’t really season 4 that much was how the eliatropes just kind of showed up… like Yugo was searching for years, and now they’re all just there because a character we’d hardly even heard of before was looking too and she found them first? It feels like lazy writing
And then all the other eliatropes that Yugo already knew were mostly forgotten. The goddess didn’t mention chibi, grougal, or phaeris once, and even said that she had all her children when she was about to leave the world of twelve…
Also everything with the gods disappearing and us never getting an explanation was so weird… what do you mean the entirety of season three was about someone wanting to replace and overthrow the gods, and then we find out all the gods are just gone already? And it’s not like we’ve never heard from the gods in the show, since in season one Enutrof talked to Ruel when they were fighting grougal
Also the cliffhanger of them all being stuck in the god’s world for them to just be sent back home in the second episode kind of irked me
Idk, I feel like the story would’ve been better if they focused more on what happened to the gods, or if they stuck with the plot of the mechasms invading the world of twelve
I mean season 4 was good, it had good fight scenes and the animation has definitely improved… but it left something to be desired with the plot :/
