Student Council Candidates
Here are the candidates for the student council elections. Obviously there are still some year rep positions we need people for so I think that if at any time during the campaign you want to volunteer for one of those or put your characters in as a late entry for something else, I’ll allow it.
President
Vidia Allen
Blake Hall
Rex Ralph
Aaric Chernabog
Vice President
Bethany Priestmen
Anna Arendelle
Secretary
Fawn Wilder
Belle Cherie
Barbra Roberts
Treasurer
Michelle Martinez
Historian
Gabrielle Mattaccino
Persephone Redden
First Year Rep
Venellope Van Schweets
Second Year Rep
Gabriella Maris
Third Year Rep
Tina Bell
Fourth Year Rep
Gypsy Ferrer
Carrie Williams
Ben Milori
Fifth Year Rep
Atta Reed
Sixth Year Rep
Georgette Bilson
Seventh Year Rep
Garrett Autumns
Trainee Rep
Marcus Zazu
So that is how the list currently stands. Again, if you want to add your characters in as late entries, just let me know and I will add them to the list. If you aren’t sure what year they would be in , just ask and I can help you figure it out. You are now allowed to begin campaigning and basically, there are no limits to this. You can make posters, write platforms, have cupcakes to give out, whatever you can think of. Just post it and tag it as wwhelection so that I am sure to see it and can reblog it here! The voting will take place on April 13th.

Remember there are still a few days to submit names for this. You can put your characters in the running for any position but it would be nice to get a few especially for the year reps!

E A S T E R  S O U T H E R N  G E T A W A Y
Congratulations everyone for making it through the first two months of 2014! As an early Easter treat, we’re having a trip to the town of Charleston, Georgia. Whilst there, we encourage people to go and explore the entire state as well as surrounding places. Please pack accordingly to the weather as we’d have to have everyone coming down with a cold as that really would ruin the entire trip for everybody. We’ll be there for the last week of March and whilst there the local town has some things going on. So, we hope that you enjoy and plan lots of exciting things to do out there during the build up to this treat.
Departure Date: March 24th  8:30pm EST Return Date: March 31st 6:45pm EST
Accommodation Arrangements: We will be staying in a large Plantation-type house with a lovely drive up to it lined with trees. On the site however there are also three houses with three double bedrooms in each. If students wish to stay in these houses they should contact student Gabrielle Mattaccino by March 9th with a list of who will be staying in the house and in what rooms. A list will be posted the day before we leave of who is in what house, if they requested a place.
A C T I V I T I E S
Storytelling Festival: March 26th Reggae Night: March 27th Festival Of Lights: March 30th (Fireworks at 10pm)
Note: It isn’t a demand that we make all characters/students go to the bonfire. However throughout the span of time on the trip, please state when you make starters if your character is not on the trip else people will assume that your character is.

Happy October, WWH!
Remember that today marks the official start of our month of Halloween activities. From now through Sunday there will be Pumpkin picking in our Garden, hay rides, apple picking, craft fairs for making holiday decorations, apple bobbing, making scarecrows, and of course the haunted house. So come out an enjoy yourself! Also remember that Monday will be the beginning of the scavenger hunt, so start preparing for that. You are also all reminded that it's not too early to start getting your teams ready for monster contest, fundraising, party planning, and decorating the school for the end of the month so start planning and submitting this stuff as soon as you want! And don't forget you can begin voting for Pumpkin King and Queen anytime in the month of October.
Happy Halloween, Everyone!

Join us for some Halloween celebration fun! Over the course of the month of October Wishing Well will be having some very fun events from apple bobbing at their Harvest Fest to running from the crazy man with a chainsaw in their haunted house attraction! All of this will lead up to the Halloween party on October 31st!
Here are how the events will go:
Friday the 4th through Sunday the 6th - Pumpkin picking in our Garden, hay rides, apple picking, craft fairs for making holiday decorations, apple bobbing, making scarecrows, and of course the haunted house.
Monday the 7th through Friday the 11th - Scavenger week! Students will be divided into teams to find a list of items hidden around the school campus. The items will not be hidden until Sunday evening, and students will not receive the list until Monday morning. Teams of up to 5 people may enter the scavenger hunt. The winners get 100$ visa gift cards, a basket of Halloween goodies, and a week’s worth of homework passes. (Meaning no homework for a week!)
Friday the 11th through Sunday the 13th - the haunted house will be opened again, bonfire on Saturday night (bring some scary stories!), and a make your own monster contest! You will have the whole weekend to work on your monster. Up to teams of 5, no less than 2. One person in each group gets to be the “monster” you have the whole weekend to work on their monster costume, hair, and make up. Scariest monster wins! Dean Hardscrabble and Lady Tremaine will be the judges. Winners get 50$ gas gift cards each, a Halloween goodie basket, and free movie passes for 5 movies.
Monday the 14th through Friday the 18th - It’s party planning week! Four groups of students will get to plan a rocking Halloween party! Up to 6 kids in a group. (Note: college kids and high school students may NOT work together for this because the college parties will most likely have alcohol.) Everyone has the chance to plan the best Halloween party they can for the upcoming weekend! The school will supply you with $300 to get you started. Any extra money spend will have to come from yourselves. Students who decide to not be in groups of party planners get to vote on who’s party has the best theme, food and drinks, music, etc. Both gymnasiums, the ballroom, and the conference room will be used for parties. Make sure you sign up quickly before all spots are filled! Get your groups together and then reserve which room you would like to host your party in! 2 high school groups and 2 college groups will be accepted.
Friday the 18th through Sunday the 20th - Friday night will be the high school parties, Saturday parties will be the college parties. Sunday will be clean up day. The haunted house is open all weekend as well.
Monday the 21st through Friday the 25th -Fundraiser week! Groups of 5 will get together and raise as much money as they can for different causes by doing holiday activities. Whether it be selling candy, helping children make crafts and costumes, etc… Whatever your group decides they can do. The group to make the most money by the end of the week wins an all expenses paid weekend vacation to Cancun, Mexico.
Friday the 25th through Sunday the 27th - Haunted house will be opened, of course. Groups of 5 will spend the whole weekend decorating the school as scary as they can! Each group will be assigned a section of the school to decorate. The winning group gets an interview on the local news channel about all the craziness going on and a $100 gift card to a restaurant or store of their choice. (Note: professionals will be hired to decorate other parts of the school for things such as music, strobe lights, smoke machines, etc…)
Monday the 28th through Thursday the 31st - Classes will not be in session. It’s every man/woman for themselves! Spend the week navigating through the school in the dark! You can team up with as many kids as you want. (The less the better for this one, guys!) Everyone will start in the basement, which has been turned into a spooky maze, to try and find themselves to the attic of the school. The school lights will be shut off, windows will be covered, and there will be some unwanted guests around. Clowns, ghouls, monsters, mummies, ghosts, witches, vampires, werewolves, oh my! They will all be lurking the school, doing their best to scare you! Each student will be able to carry one backpack with them with whatever items they deem necessary. There will be three rooms on each floor stocked with food, all restrooms will be fully operating (for every guest ;), and at 2am every night the contest will stop so everyone can sleep. This of this as the Hunger Games, but with less dead people and more candy! There is a catch to this game though. Trap doors will be installed around the school. If anyone steps on a trap door they will fall back into the basement and have to start over! The winners, the first to get to the school attic before 4pm on Thursday, will receive the following prizes: a week long vacation to Hawaii, $200 dollars for a gift card of their choice, candy for a year from the candy shop sponsoring the school this year, and victory!
Thursday night of October 31st - HALLOWEEN PARTY/DANCE!!! Held in the ballroom will be a dance organized by the staff. Come in your best costume! We will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for best costume. Prizes will be announced the night of the dance. Students will also be able to vote for “Pumpkin King” and “Pumpkin Queen”. Voting starts now and ends October 29th. Music will be played at the dance. There will be food, drinks, games, and an open bar. Classes will resume Monday the 4th of November.
