S11 au. Where Kai gets in the way right when Zane gets blasted into another dimension. And they both get sent to the never realm. But Zane still gets his memory fucked up because Kai also got his brain fucked up when they landed so now they're both just really confused and Zane is getting corrupted by the staff but somehow they both feel some sort of connection with each other. Vex is still there and does fuck with Zane to some degree but then he suggests getting rid of Kai and Zane turns his ass into a popsicle

Zane is still being controlled by the staff scroll thing so he's still kinda fucked up and evil but now less so because Kai is anti-genocide actually. Now there are two emperors one of ice and one of fire and together they're only sort of tyrannical

Zane made him a smaller throne next to his and an ice crown so they match because they're husbands

Zane has poor control of the staff and freezes people sometimes but they're ok if Kai melts them fast enough probably

“Uh…” Zane didn’t know what to say. “Lettuce?”

Jay looked at the mysterious item Zane was hiding so desperately.

“Lettuce?” Jay raised an eyebrow. “You’re hiding lettuce from me?”

“Yes?”

Jay came over to see what Zane was really hiding.

“Wait, no!” Zane pleaded.

But Jay didn’t listen. He pulled out what Zane was hiding. The blue ninja’s eyes widen. His boyfriend was holding a small box.

“Wh… What’s this?” Jay asked.

Zane bit his lip.

“Jay…” Zane opened the box to reveal the Yin-Yang medallion. “Will… you be my Yang?

Jay gave Zane a kiss.

“Yes. I will.”

HC prosthetic leg Jay:

Jay sat uncomfortably on the metal table that usually Zane lay upon, drumming his nails on the cold surface as Zane finished up his work in silence. It wasn’t an uncomfortable silence, as soft music was playing through the nearby radio, but sitting for a long period of time made Jay feel antsy.

Zane on the other hand sat comfortably on Jay’s wheely chair, working on finishing up the last few parts of the prosthetic.

Humming in finality, Zane spun around and gently reached one hand out, Jay raising his thigh so the knee joint fit comfortably in Zane’s palm.

Carefully, the prosthetic leg was raised and fitted with careful hands and pinpoint accuracy. And once connected, one of those gentle hands were offered to the brunette to help him stand.

“Take a few steps for me, will you? I want to make sure it’s comfortable. We don’t need your leg pinching again.” Zane requested, Jay unable to stop the loving smile on his face. When Zane had noticed Jay’s slight discomfort with his current prosthetic, he immediately demanded to help readjust and refit the device for his lover. Even going so far as to plan future tune-ups of his prosthetic as not to let Jay forget about it for such a long time again.

“Yeah- Yeah it’s much better.” Jay beamed, Zane keeping his grip on Jay’s hand and pulling him closer to his body. Leading Jay gently along to the gentle rhythm of the music, the lightning elemental giggling stupidly. “Zane, what are you doing?” “Testing the prosthetic, obviously.” Zane replies, dipping Jay smoothly and planting sugar sweet kisses across freckled cheeks before pulling back up and continuing their waltz around the workroom.

jay watched carefully as zane opened his chest. he was amazed at the intricacy. every piece fitting together perfectly. every wire, every gear, every button and switch, all beautifully assembled into the best person jay had ever met. 

zane smiled as jay looked. he was enthralled and he hadn’t even started searching. zane was a well built machine. he had many surprises living in him. zane couldn’t wait until he discovered them all.

jay reached his hand up slowly. “may i…?” he asked tentatively.
