What was Beth's high school experience like?

   Beth’s high school experience was pretty decent. She had a built in best friend with her sister Hannah always at her side, and of course she had her older brother Josh to look out for both of them as well. She was pretty popular both by nature of being generally sociable, but also just by being a Washington, lots of people already knew her brother but everyone knew about her dad.

She had a fairly decent relationships with most of her friend group, even if almost half the people in it were really more her brother’s friends, and she also got along well with people outside of the group too. While she wasn’t exactly explicitly out of the closet in high school she also wasn’t entirely locked inside it, the people she was closest to definitely knew and she never hid that information but she didn’t always volunteer it either. 

There were definitely a few instances of people that wanted to be her friend to get something out of it. Whether they crushed on Josh, or were fans of her dad's work, or simply just wanted to go along with the "rich kids" while Beth footed the bill. She was pretty good at sussing those folks out, maybe occasionally allowing someone in briefly if she thought they actually could be a good match for Josh, but such exceptions were extremely rare.

CHANGES GOING FORWARD:

As of May 1st 2025, my interest tracker is non-negotiable to new followers. Anyone who follows me after May 1st has a 30 day grace period to fill out my interest tracker whether I follow back or not, and anyone who doesn't will be soft blocked. You're welcome to follow again after this but I will not write or send memes until the interest tracker is filled out. Anyone who followed pre-May 1st, 2025 is fine because I've pretty much had conversations with everyone.

Reblogging less memes. I used to reblog soooo many memes and get very little sent into me, especially when it came to headcanon/about memes. Going forward I'm going to try and be more mindful and careful about what I choose to reblog and I won't be reblogging anymore headcanon based memes at all aside from the one that is currently still on my blog.

Open Starters. In lieu of memes I'm going to attempt going forward to post more starters instead. Some of these will be pretty general and able to fit a majority of verses, others will be verse specific. I'll mention both on the post and within the tags to not cause any confusion.

Drafts/Queue. As always any threads I reply to will likely be queued for tuesdays. I'm going to be building my drafts for a bit, mostly with headcanon posts, before switching them over to the queue. So it might appear like I'm not active on here, but I am lurking and around to accept asks memes, and talk either here or on discord.

Been dipping my toes a little bit into coming back from a long hiatus. It's hard when the rpc for your specific fandom seems to be mostly dead.
