Part 2/ I dunno how many of drawing every sonic character I can think of to improve my art

I tried one without a reference and I think it shows

Still trying to get used to the new rendering style, I think that the lineart here was more impactful then the final render somehow

Guess who hasn't drawn a human in like.. forever

EXAMS ARE OVER FOR ME YAAAAAAAY (even though I'm not done with school just quite yet, I'll have a hundred times more free time which means more time to drawwweww)

To celebrate I'm going to bite the bullet and draw a human again, Maria being my first target

I honestly have no words, I'm just really proud of myself because I fell really ill and was so sick during the entire drawing process I'm just glad that I finished it, you can really see me struggle with the sand but just ignore that and look at the top half of the drawing

Just began the rendering process, I'm winging it so hard it's actually working

I won't post anything more for this drawing until I'm fully done with it because otherwise I'll just post every little bit of progress AAAAAAA

So I'm currently drawing from a lot of references for practice and I thought why not draw like every Sonic character that I can think of so I'm begging with Blaze, Amy & Rouge because I love them so much and the sketch is turning out stunning so far so I thought I might share

Uhh I tried to experiment with the composition

This is a Silver time loop au (Idea taken from here)

In this au Silver has to relive the same four days where the world slowly deteriorates into nothing and in turn his mental health deteriorates too until he goes cuckoo

Honestly the idea is very basic but I just wanted to draw epic Silver

It's not finished but I've honestly lost the motivation for this piece so this is where I'll leave it at

I might not be posting as often because I'll be focusing on improving my art

Thank you for the ask @lunarcr0ssing , you actually kind of made me rethink why I even like the ship in the first place 😭

So I was genuinely stumped for a long time before I arrived at an answer-

-there won't be one.

The way that I see it is that Silver and Shadow would get quite comfortable with each other's presence and possibly seek one another out whenever Silver is in the present timeline but neither would really initiate the first step as they are uncertain about what might happen in the future (or they're afraid to lose what they have now)

But if we're talking about a more fanon interpretation then I think that there wouldn't be an official "date" rather maybe one of them asks to go on a little walk before Silver goes back to the future (ba dum tss) and it's a bit awkward and they possibly hug

So sorry if this reads very disjointed, I can't really put my thoughts into words that well, basically what I mean is I personally prefer a more subtle show of love and that's how I imagine them to be

But I still like the more fanon version where they're more open with their feelings too as that's what I mainly draw for fanart lol

(on a different note, I just want to mention that I really like this rendering style, even if currently it's a bit messy as it's only a sketch so I will probably experiment with it a bit more)

So I'm preparing an answer for an ask and obviously I can't do it without doing a little rendering test and WHAT??? it's going to be done soon but I can't keep it to myself for longer because it looks so good?? HOW?!?!! I didn't know I had this in me

It's that time again

I wanted to try the hatching rendering technique but I don't think that it's for me though it didn't turn out too bad

Also my askbox is like always open so if you guys wanna see me draw anything drop it in there, I just have so many shadilver drawing ideas (I really need to stop beginning like 5 projects at once) that will take me ages to finish and no fun ideas for a quick drawing

Guys I think it's time for another rendering test

Just a quick little drawing where I just threw a bunch of colours at Silver because I wanted a small break from all my exams

Hearing a firm knock at the door, Silver went to go answer it. Opening it absentmindedly, his eyebrow raised at the sight before him.

“Shadow? What’s this for?” he asked, noticing the flower-a daffodil- that he was holding.

“For you,” Shadow repiled monotonously, though in his voice there was a trace of something Silver couldn’t quite grasp. He didn’t pay attention or know what Shadow was holding behind his back, but judging from his expression now, it might be too soon to provide that knowledge.

This is the beginning of a Yandere Shadilver au because why not. I thought it was interesting how an immortal & time traveller could work with the Yandere trope so I probably will make more drawings for it in the future.

Silver lineart for something interesting

Why do I just keep pinballing between art styles😭 anyway I do think that I like how he looks here and I'll try and stay consistent with this style for sure now.

It's a bit funny to compare how I draw him now with how he was like a month ago even though it's such a short period of time
