Among the asks I’ve received in a month ,this feels so connected to my mood and I’m happy it gave me a kick-start for a new asks row!

Takuya: THUNDER⚡️. Face it: Junpei and Takuya are two sides of the same coin and have been given the most explosive elements matching that bursting bomb of personality they have got. There’s no other element I can see for someone as impulsive as Takuya ahahah. He also ends up in the Thunder circle when they land in Sephirotmon. HHHHH MY THUNDER-FIRE WISH CONNECTION. Due to ATLA, it works so perfectly to me, idk HHHHHHHH. And also imagine an Agnimon with electric hair… He already has got a mane similar to mine when my freaking hair gets messy.

Kouji: Wind🍃. Besides the fact he also ends up in the sphere of the Wind in the Sephirotmon, I think he has always had some sort of connection with the wind? Like, in ep 2 he comments about Digiworld’s wind, he is often represented with his long hair in this wind and he’s a free spirit. Wolfmon couldn’t be absolutely called such any more ahahhahah. But tbh he could also be a sort of ninja moving as fast as the gusts of wind? Kouji can use things such as steel bars (again, ep 2) and climbs mountains, can hide pretty well (the tickle scene episode), can survive to falls. He should take on kendo imo.

Izumi: Fire🔥. The concept of the phoenix, I beg? Imagine the arc of the stolen spirit being handled much better with not only Junpei caring about her own well-being, but also with her coming to terms with a little depression about being the weakest and going through a symbolic rebirth? I’m so obsessed with Izumi’s stolen spirit arc and how dirty it has made her because it barely focused on how she felt FROM HER PERSPECTIVE It’s not right Junpei had to be the vehicle of her emotions? And do things for her while she sat there?????? Izumi???? Moreover, if she got Fire, she would be the mc and I would love it; we would, wouldn’t we?

Junpei: Water💦. To be honest, Junpei would fit Wind as well and it would be hilarious because he wouldn’t go along with his element at all, a bit what I can see Izumi x Water to be, since she always drowns in lakes and seas. Junpei has got a little funny scene featuring him wanting to understand how to orientate through the wind and failing miserably (ep 2). Then, you also have got the EXHILARATING, well-known moment from ep 4, where he tries getting Izumi’s spirit and Fairymon just surpasses him at high speed🤣 (even if Junpei being attacked and Izumi yelling his name is what wakes Fairymon up). EHM, yeah, I could joke about that and also about someone heavy getting an element making him feel as light as a feather yet still retaining his weight. Again, funny, I’d be into it, I have got my hcs about a bond between Fairymon and Junpei, but I prefer imagining Thunder and Wind bonding with each other.

So I’m giving Junpei Water because he sings like a merman tempestous boy can get an element making it rain, generating storms but in another kind of form, in a more active fashion. No, I don’t want Junpei to completely part from his element because that’s an amazing part of his writing, despite how little attention it has got: his fear of thunders, which in a similar rewrite could become fear of storms in general. I don’t think Junpei has got that great relationship with rain, either, if I have to be sincere. That day he forgot the umbrella mustn’t have been that nice on his body. Moreover , do not forget his Beast spirit was found in the sea like Ranamon’s and Fairymon’s and I have always found it so fascinating. Wind x Thunder x Water, my beloved *cough* *cough*. Idk his spirit could be based on a whale and its chants. Kill me.

And now the same suffering point to overcome: Kouichi and Tomoki, whom I don’t think about that much and I always show it. I’m sorry, guys. I’m sorry. Junpei gets two paragraphs and he balances this miserable last part.

Tomoki🪨: Earth. And don’t ask me why Train of Hope has given me this idea of Tomoki ending up being so strict and determined and kinda “I’m a person with my feet firmly pressed against Earth”. In truth, in the anime he kinda was peetty determined and down to Earth (lmao), despite being such a baby? He had his values and held onto it during the Asuramon episode, showing how much he cared about them. Idk? This is my half-assed idea and I hate it, thank you. He could still be a bear, if you ask me. Something similar to Ursaluna.

Kouichi❄️: Because Kouichi can’t be parted from his near-to-death experience in any rewrite, if you ask me, and the only thing I can connect with death is ice and cold. Do I need to explain it…? No idea how he would look like. Something closer to Duskmon than Loweemon.

Samples are ready !

I haven't received them yet, and these are photos from the manufacturer but I'm actually super happy with how they're turning out !

On the inside, I had the respective Digivice owners name written in the kana-based Digicode, and the back says "SPIRIT" in English Digicode like the base of the spirits from the show.

I'm actually going for the "universal" phone case design, based on some of my fave phone cases I've bought from Japan, so hopefully those who are interested will be okay with them. They'll come in 2 sizes, and you can slide the phone up to reveal the camera.

I was actually talking with my sister, and we were thinking of opening up for pre-orders once I confirm the samples so we can get orders going. We're still thinking about it though, so we might just go straight for a live sale instead since we're so new to this haha.

Prompt - Holding Hands

You were woken when you heard a twig snap.

That wasn’t the only thing that woke you. But when you heard the twig snap followed by the sound of footsteps, that woke you up. At first you were angry.

You barely got any sleep and now something was interrupting your sleep. You have been running around the Digital World with your friends, but things have gotten worse.

It seemed like no matter where you went something or someone found you. With the intention to kill you. Fun. You sat up and rubbed your eyes.

It took a while before you could see since it was dark. Once you could see you looked around the campsite. You scanned the area to see that everyone was still sleeping.

Expect Kouji.

He was nowhere to be seen. At first you feared the worst. So you shot up and looked around again. After looking around again you spotted Kouji. He was sitting near a tree looking at the moon.

You sighed and walked over to Kouji. Kouji heard you coming so he looked over at you. “Did I wake you?” Kouji asked and you nodded. You sat down next to Kouji and Kouji went back to looking at the moon.

Or should I say moons? You looked up at the sky to see the three moons that shone in the sky of the Digital World. You wonder why there were three moons, you wondered about lots of things since you came to the Digital World.

But you found that worrying about that wasn’t the most important thing. The Digital World was beautiful. In its own weird way. It looked like the real world and kinda functioned like the real world.

But it was just different enough that you felt a little uneasy. You looked over at Kouji. He looked the same he did before he went to sleep, not like you guys had a change of clothes.

He seemed troubled by something.

It wasn’t surprising. Everyone was a little on edge. “Want to talk about it?” You asked Kouji. You wanted to help Kouji, you just didn’t know how. You know very little about the bandana boy since he mostly keeps to himself.

You’ve tried to get to know him yet nothing comes of it. You knew that you would get through to him, you just needed time. Which you might not have. Kouji didn’t say anything so you didn’t either.

You found with Kouji that it’s better to speak to him when he wants to talk. Or else you get the silent treatment or a nasty glare. You preferred the silent treatment. So you just sat there in silence with Kouji next to you.

Everyone else was sleeping so it was just you and Kouji and the moons. Kouji still seemed really tense though and that made you worry. Kouji needed to relax a bit more. He did, he has.

But now that everything is on the line, even your lives. Everyone was a little tense. You looked down at the grass. Kouji was sitting with one of his legs up over the other and a hand on the legs.

The leg was bent and placed on the grass. His other hand was on the grass right next to your leg. So you slowly moved your hand to Kouji’s and placed it on top of his.

You felt Kouji tense and when you looked up you saw that Kouji was blushing. You smiled and looked back at the moons. You felt Kouji slowly relax under your hand. You tighten your grip on Kouji's hand. Everything was going to be fine. You two had each other.

So it was fine.

Going thoroughly insane over how on completely different ends Sora's and Koushirou's roles and relationships with their mothers (and in extension their parents in general) are portrayed in Adventure. And once again, it was ALL based on miscommunication:

Sora is perceived as the tradition-defying "tomboy" who is "loud" and plays football; Koushirou is perceived as the "good boy" who is always "polite and correct" and never acts spoilt or out of line. The key word here is "perceived", because we see both of them display traits in front of their peers that go beyond the "role" their parents witness (and that both of them are willingly or subconsciously displaying in front of them); Sora is actually the caring mom/big sister friend who literally and figuratively takes everyone under their wing, Koushirou is opinionated, forward and outspoken when things are dire and at stake.

Sora's mother wants her to act more like "the daughter of an ie-moto", more feminine, less out of line - at least, that is the message that reaches Sora, since her mother asks her to quit her beloved football. Her polite and aloof attitude appears to be rather cold and dismissive to Sora, which is basically what makes her rebel against the whole flower arrangement business. She feels unloved and misunderstood, as if she cannot be appreciated if she isn't "perfect" in her mother's eyes. Thus she is unable to understand that her mother may just worry about her hurting her injured leg even more. Furthermore, Sora has a very poor grasp on the fact that she herself is acting towards her friends and partner in the exact same way, albeit in a more gentle way most of the time.

Koushirou's mother wants him to be more selfish, to tell her what he dislikes and what bothers him, to stop being perfect at all times - but that is exactly what he physically cannot do, as he himself is doubting his whereabouts and simply tries to just shove all doubts and worries aside. Instead of acting "normal", he is hiding behind that barrier and mask of perfection towards his parents - and has to realize that this attitude is worrying them even more.

In the end, it all gets (mostly) resolved through them realizing that they're still loved regardless of what happened; they don't necessarily HAVE TO change, but it is up to them whether they want to or not. Meaning, their respective arcs of self-discovery have not ended yet, but the foundation for better relationships has been established here. Sora will start playing tennis (a.k.a changing her hobby) in an attempt to move towards her mother more, choosing to do so for her own sake. Koushirou will try to act more open and casual towards his parents, even though he is actively being reassured that his hobby (being into computers) is exactly what he is all about and that he doesn't have to change that.
