I've gotta get back on writing before writer's block gets me so here's a poll of random (mostly problematic and fucky) concepts I have to help me decide. I am not gonna including fics that are part of series' (ie 7tgh, paper bag [tho I do need to get back on that sometime]), long fics (any concepts that would potentially be more than 3 chapters), and im saving my spinnerdabi fics for spinnerdabi week (ohh @spinnerdabi-week guys mark your calendars.) So I'm not including those. That leaves these for y'all to pick from:

Yes yes especially if it's paired with like "trying to rehabilitate him" from villainy ( either post canon house arrest aus, kidnapping, etc ) and they think the best way to do it is to knock him up 💅 make him a barefoot & pregnant little housewife. Shoutos fun with it bc he'd think he's trying to do it for the best, but then the Todoroki breeding genes kick in and he feels just like his dad.

I also like the idea of Shigaraki trying to babytrap Dabi, like "well you can't leave the League if you're pregnant sooo" and afo over on the sidelines like "that's fucked, young Tomura" but admittedly curious about how the baby would turn out, what he could use it for, etc. Hey he might try and knock Dabi up himself too.

I think everybody should breed Dabi and fight over getting him pregnant then they should go on Maury for a DNA test.

I think Toga should get ahold of Enji's blood somehow and she and Dabi get freaky with it. They are both so self destructive and so desperate for love and affection they should be more fucked up about it together actually

God, are you in my walls because I've been needing to write this kinda idea for ages. It's one of those concepts i rotate in my brain all the time.

I like the idea of pre-reveal him not telling her Enji's his dad and trying to play it off as like a kink thing / celebrity crush but considering how Dabi acts during the sex Himiko figures there's definitely something more to it. Mayhaps plays detective. Then the reveal happens and she's just "Ohhh... That makes sense. Damn that's fucked up"

On the flipside, her knowing and this all being some twisted fantasy thing and an attempt to get closure (through very self destructive means) and he asks her to do it is so 💞💞💞 him trusting her with that 💞💞💞 her having a hard time trusting herself with it 💞💞💞 rape reenactment 💞💞💞 they both end up crying by the end 💞💞💞 she's gotta basically force him to accept aftercare 💞💞💞 or its gentle sex where "Enji" is saying everything Touya wanted him too 💞💞💞 they both still end up crying 💞💞💞 i just want freaky tragic fucked up emotional self destructive sex shenanigans. Also like. On that note. Really into the idea of Dabi making sense of things that happen to him by convincing himself he somehow caused it, because he doesn't like feeling like a victim so he's not the victim if he basically manipulated the other person into doing it.

Like, between todocest hcs, afo's facility, and spending 7 years on the street Touya probably got taken advantage of left and right, no matter what he did, so to cope he convinced himself it had to be something about him, something that made people want to do that to him, that way it's more just. Fate and inevitable, it doesn't surprise or upset him anymore because it just is what it is. If anything he feels bad for the people that do it, he's obviously corrupting them into it.

I esp like it with toxic ships where his partner isn't like trying to be toxic tho. Like spinnerdabi and it's just Spinners mating season made him lose control, he hurts Dabi real bad and goes to apologize but Dabi's like "it's fine, i got a way about me, you couldn't help it. Actually it's almost like I raped you." And Spinner's trying desperately to explain that no, that wasn't cool and he was the one who did something wrong but Dabi won't hear it. Esp if Dabi's like geniunely upset like he thinks he did something wrong and Shuichi goes to apologize just for Dabi to be like "omg I'm soooo sorry i made you noncon me 😭" and Shuichi's just confused as hell

Or Shigadabi or Togadabi where there is some abuse going on but Dabi's low-key enabling it by saying it's something he's doing, and kind of excusing the abuse/blood drinking/whatever because it's obviously his fault for somehow instigating it unconsciously. Does not help that those two would probably agree with/go along with it bc they both have a draw to do stuff like that but can't explain why (Toga's blood quirk giving her urges, Shigaraki's violence programming) and Dabi's saying it's him, so it has to be him.

I do love that Dabi is the one the League keeps pimping out. Hawks. Kind of Overhaul. They should just be literal about it at this point. (Bonus childhood trauma reawakening + him compartmentalizing it as 'not exploitation if I agree', convinces himself he's saving Toga from being forced to do it (no one suggested her), possibly suggests it first to get ahead of the humiliation of being nominated, then gets slutshamed for it. He definitely has the mentality of 'im ruined already. I'm not even really real. It can get worse because you can't make filth dirtier. In fact I'm ruining You. (Favourite flavour of dark dabihawks is dabi deciding that he is in fact corrupting hawks into dubconning him, which is thus a victory))

I love the idea of Dabi trying to convince himself he's one step ahead by just... Putting himself in terrible positions bc he figures they're going to happen any way and at least if he suggests it they can't catch him off guard, he's still in control.

Like Dabi's absolutely convinced Shigaraki would make him do sexual shit to repay him for the gear when he joins, so he one step ahead by immediately getting on his knees before Shigaraki gets the chance to demand it. Any league member, really, Dabi already assumes they're gonna take advantage of him at some point but they can't do that if he offers it first. Same with Hawks, he's dead sure Hawks'll try something but it gives him the illusion of control if Dabi instigates it. Even stuff like, the league needing money for food or supplies, Dabi takes it upon himself to go out and sleep with ppl to get the money, cause they're gonna tell him to anyway, obviously, so it's less humiliating if he volunteers.

The idea of "oh you can't ruin me actually I'm ruining you" is crazy good, too. Like he's got such a complex about "being some type of way and making people do this shit to me" that he convinces himself it's worse for them than it is for him, because he's a slut and he must secretly want this deep down, and he keeps asking for it and making people do it so actually he's in control, the others fell into his trap, for sure.

This is a great concept if he's right and all bc then hes coping the best he can but it's tragic if he's just misreading the whole situation and doesn't actually need to be doing any of it.
