growing up!

finally got some time to finish these guys up! which is sort of ironic considering I started these because I wanted to draw Malleus with a Dragapult, and then I just didn't for a million years!

Malleus has the aforementioned Dragapult, except it's a super special non-canon color Dragapult (like an anime-only form that you could get in-game exclusively through some limited-time event where you have to show up in-person at a specific location in Japan) (it has some wacky overpowered exclusive move/form and the OT is listed as Malleus) (so like that kind of ridiculous specialness) (Leona is extremely salty about this). also hoards and hoards of Dreepy. Dreepy LOVE Malleus. they take naps on his horns inbetween begging him to throw them across the island at mach speeds.

Lilia has a Drampa and a bunch of Woobat that he hasn't actually caught, they just follow him around in swarms because they sense a kinship with him. (also breaking my own rule again to say that he had a Mawile in the past, because...I just really wanted to give him a Mawile...)

Sebek has Sandile for obvious reasons, and also a Pikachu that bullies him relentlessly. :(

Silver has a shiny Corvisquire; I really went back-and-forth on also giving him an Aegislash, but...hm. those pokedex entries though. he can stick with just one for now.

(I hadn't planned on the shiny for him, but after I'd decided on the Corvisquire line and was looking it up for reference, I realized that shiny Rookidee is gold and then turns silver when it evolves and I lost my entire goddamn mind)

In which a big scary dragon invades (Y/n)'s pillow cave, claiming the nest itself and the girl as his territory.

(Y/n) doesn't mind though, as long as that big scary dragon is Malleus Draconia.

"—and, that should do the trick!"

Adding your favourite pillow to the top of your cosy little fortress, you clapped your hands together in delight at how much your effort had paid off. Now, it was time to crawl inside, and sleep a little bit after a long day of school. Letting out an exhausted sigh when you let yourself crash onto the pillows inside of your little cave, you sprawled your limbs around. Luckily for you, Silver had showed a few tricks here and there to keep the walls sturdy and indestructible.

Just as you cuddled into the pillow, eyes closed in contentedness, you heard a little crunch coming from the entrance of your cave. Forcing one eye open, you indeed found a familiar face looking inside the pillow fortress in awe. Bright green eyes illuminated the darkness that clouded the interior of your cave. A little scream escaped your lips, and you jolted upright.

"Stop sneaking up on me like that, Malleus!" you breathed out once you had calmed your erratically beating heart. He didn't react to any of your complaints and words, but instead retreated back outside. It seemed like he was pacing around, inspecting your work with keen eyes. "Malleus?" You crawled out, too, your head poking out from the entrance in curiosity.

Poking a soft pillow that was intended to be the roof with his index finger, he shook his head. "The walls aren't good for protection in case thieves come to steal your treasures..." he murmured to himself whilst continuing to circle the cave, his gloved fingers stroking his chin.

Furrowing your eyebrows, you rose to your feet. "What thieves are you talking about—" you asked, finding it amusing how he seemed so serious about your cave. After a little bit of watching him pace around, you noticed the way his pupils were more slitted — dragon-like — than usual. Once you realised what was going on, you couldn't help but start laughing loudly. "Is this..." You found it hard to speak while laughing so wildly. "Is this some sort of dragon thing? Caves— and treasures?"

Your laughter seemed to have snapped Malleus out of his trance. Sheepishly looking up at you, he admitted, "Oh— sometimes I just get carried away when seeing caves — just like with gargoyles... it's like a dragon's instinct?" Much to his surprise, you started squealing. Tilting his head to the side, he shot you a confused look. Were all humans this excitable? Or was it just his human.

"That's adorable!" Giggling, you got onto your toes ro ruffle his hair, which evoked a raised eyebrows from him. Your gesture was quite questionable with your short height, but he appreciated it nonetheless. Shooting him a toothy smile, you cooed, "So, what does Mr. Big Scary Dragon have to say about my pillow cave?"

Shrugging, he made his way over to the entrance. "Well... I haven't really seen the inside yet," he murmured as he crawled inside, the entrance almost too small for his body to fit through. But he somehow managed to eventually reach the main body of the cave, where more blankets and pillows formed the ground. "Huh... this cave is a peculiar one— so soft... it needs some rearranging though..."

Without waiting for your permission, he started rearranging some of the blankets and pillows, so that they were evenly strewn out. Crawling into the entrance as well, you watched him work like a professional. You furrowed your eyebrows whilst letting out a little huff that went unnoticed by the concentrated male.

"Is this some sort of invasion?" you asked as you sat down, crossing your arms playfully. "Is the big scary dragon gonna steal my cave?"

"Only if you don't behave~" Malleus shot you a little wink that caused your anger to turn into adoration. You simply couldn't be angry at your precious dragon. Silently cursing him in your mind, you waited for him to finish rearranging the cushions to his liking; well, he probably had better knowledge of placing pillows into their right places to maximise comfort, anyway. Once he was finished, he let out an exhausted sigh. "Besides, mates share their caves— so it's our cave now..."

You almost fell over from shock as you numbly sputtered, "M-Mates?"

Malleus let out a satisfied hum, not noticing the distressed and panicked expression on your face. Starting to sweat, you swore it somehow had grown incredibly stuffy and hot in here. You watched him with wide eyes as he somehow turned around in circles in the same spot multiple times before laying down. His behaviour somehow reminded you of a cat looking for the perfect resting space, and you couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh yes, this is the life..." Malleus let out a contented sigh as he snuggled deeper into the many pillows, the stress from today fading away into nothingness.

Clicking your tongue, you realised that you hadn't intended to build the cave for two people — especially not an additional big dragon fae. The fact that he actually was able to even crawl inside left you in awe. But now, you found yourself bubbling away in annoyance when he continued to sleep and occupy the whole area, all while ignoring you. "Great, so this is your territory now...? You almost take up all the space—" Your hand reached out to poke his cheek, but you came to regret it immediately.

A little yelp escaped your lips as Malleus lazily yet somehow quickly extended his hand to stop you by grabbing your wrist with an iron grip. Trying to tug your wrist out of his hold resulted in him suddenly pulling. You toppled over right into his arms, your back now pressed flush against his chest. "Now... be quiet..." he whispered into your ear as he removed his hand from your wrist, and moved it to circle it around your waist. "Your mate needs some sleep..."

"Mate—" Again, the word that made your brain stop functioning appeared. Cheeks burning brightly, you started to squirm a little bit in embarrassment — especially with the way his hot breath always fanned over your ear.

"Hush, my little treasure..." he mumbled softly, nuzzling his nose into your hair. Eventually, you were calm enough to close your eyes and try to fall asleep, too.

Letting out a little sigh, you placed your hand over his other one that lay not too far away from your body. "I could get used to this..." A big smile etched onto your lips, you soon found yourself drifting off into dreamland.

Hours passed as Malleus and you were caught in deep slumber. When the sun had long disappeared behind the horizon, the door to your room was opened, and a gap of light streamed in. "Malleus? It's time to return from visiting (Y/n)—" Lilia began, but shut up immediately once he realised how everything was dark and silent, only soft breathing coming from the strange fortress made out of pillows. Curious, Lilia opened the door a little bit more, so he could step inside and investigate. Sebek and Silver peeked inside, curious as well.

Sticking his head into the cave's entrance, Lilia started to squeal at the sight in front of him: Malleus and you cuddling like a pair of freshly mated dragons in your own little cave.

As he returned to the two retainers, there were tears running down his cheeks. "Sebek! Silver! T-They have their own cave now—" Lilia managed to stutter out as he wiped his eyes with his overly large sleeves. Sebek and Silver seemed stunned, and the former looked like he was on the verge of passing out.

"So..." Silver trailed off after being the first to recover from the shock, "who's gonna look after their kids?"

"Me! Me!" Lilia yelled after he had shooed them out of the room, a big grin on his face. "I'm going to be a grandpa! Let me get my cane and my reading glasses real quick!"

The Underwater Surprise

Since I will miss my dear tweels’ birthday due to the lack of Internet in my home at the moment, I figured I could at least prepare something for my Octavinelle boys.

And to clear any confusion, the s/o is turned into an octopus mermaid for Azul and an eel mermaid for the Leech twins.

»       Well, he is certainly surprised when Ace ran into the VIP room at Mostro Lounge, begging Azul to come take care of his s/o while he explains the situation to Professor Crewel

»       So following Ace to the NRC indoor pool and seeing his s/o poking her eyes out of the water set off alarms in his mind

»       Though before he could get one word out, the first year was out the door, leaving a baffled Azul and his poor s/o alone

»       Looking back towards her and finally noticing light purple limbs in the water around her, Azul furrowed his eyebrows and inched closer to the edge of the pool, minding his s/o’s comfort zone

»       When his gaze falls on the squirming tentacles around his s/o’s body, a blush raises on his cheeks, mind wandering to how is it possible that she was now like him, an octopus mermaid

»       Nevertheless, Azul sits at the edge of the pool, slowly comforting his s/o and instructing her on how to control the eight appendages while internally fantasising on them swimming together through the Coral Sea

»       If she asks nicely, and maybe jokes about how she is soft and squishy now too, he might join her in the water in his merman form, wrapping his tentacles around her in a sort of a hug and generally being gratefull that his s/o isn’t disgusted by her current appearance or his real body

Jade Leech

»       He would quirk an eyebrow when a first year student nervously approaches him during his shift, quickly mumbling something about his s/o being in the middle of an alchemy accident and that she is at the NRC pool, before running out of Mostro Lounge

»       Jade would calmly make his way to the pool, wondering what his beloved s/o has gotten herself into now

»       But as soon as his eyes meet his s/o’s, her sitting on the pool steps with a long tail wiggling in the water, Jade’s usual gentlemanly expression would be replaced by a teasing grin as he walked over to crouch down next to her

»       As she explained the unfortunate event that left her trapped in an unfamiliar form, he admired her new teal colored tail and scales running up her arms and abdomen

»       Then upon her mentioning that she has no idea how to swim as a mermaid, Jade’s grin widens, saying that he will gladly show her

»       Before she could question his words, he’s already in the pool, transformed in his eel form and holding his hand out for her to take

»       So, all up until Professor Crewel shows up with an antidote, Jade will be slowly pulling his s/o along the surface of the water, teaching her how to swim in her changed body and stopping every so often to nuzzle her hair and twine their tails together, whispering praises of how well she’s doing

Floyd Leech

»       Grim bursting into the Mostro Lounge and screeching for Floyd to come see you as soon as possible amused said twin to no end

»       However, Floyd cheerly skipped off to the pool area, all the while preparing to give his sweet s/o a big squeeze when he sees them

»       What he wasn’t expecting, was catching glimpse of his little Shrimpy sitting at the bottom of the swimming pool, a pout on her face as she tried to, albeit uselessly, kick her tail so she could get back up to the surface

»       A huge smile spread across Floyd’s face when he reallized that she is now an eel just like him!

»       Without a second thought, he jumped into the water, changing into his merman form and quickly swimming over to his very shocked s/o

»       After finally squeezing the living daylights out of her, he starts dragging his s/o through the water and exclaiming how he can finally show her what it’s like to live underwater

»       When Floyd exhausted her, he would, for once, calm down a little bit and pull his s/o in for a snuggle session, running his hands over her tail and fins, while mentioning how now that they match, she could go back to the Coral Sea during the summer break

The second year made grabby hands at you, pulling you into a big, tight hug as he nuzzled your head. “You’re always so nice to me, Shrimpy! I love you a lot too!”

“You’re the best! I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t here to cheer me up and to make me smile!” He sheepishly announced, nipping at your ear playfully. “Let’s be together forever!”

Floyd grinned widely, his entire body perking up at the thought of going into the water and moving freely in his merform. “Did I hear that correctly? You want to see our merforms, Shrimpy?”

“I believe so, Floyd,” Jade remarked, looking at you with interest dancing in his eyes. “Most people fear seeing us in our true forms, yet you come willingly to us to ask this...”

“We can’t say no! Azul always complains that we have to be nice to our guests,” Floyd giggled. “C’mon, let’s go swimming with Shrimpy!”

“You’ve never been one to care about what our guests think, but I do agree with you,” Jade murmured. He glanced at you again. “Follow us then. We will be more than delighted to fulfill this request of yours...”

Sleeping in Weird Places

A mysterious wish materializes in the wishing well. Shall we take a look? 

The wish says: when you sleep in very unusual positions (feat. Octavinelle and Diasomnia)

𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚

Malleus woke up to an unexpected sight: you sleeping on the floor with your legs propped on the bed’s edge. How unusual of you to sleep with that.. Aren’t you supposed to be sleeping on the bed? No matter, with a wave of his wrist, wisps materializes beneath you and lift up your small body back to the bed. In case this happens again, he’ll just use his magic. He’ll not mind the shenanigans and the repeated actions he’d do to you - this becomes more of a habit for him to make sure you don’t wake up with a throbbing pain on your head.

𝔏𝔦𝔩𝔦𝔞 𝔙𝔞𝔫𝔯𝔬𝔲𝔤𝔢

When Lilia is about to wake everyone up in the dorms, he notices a familiar figure nestled upon a couch, their whole body resting from both ends of the furniture. “Oh my, oh my~” The old fairy chuckles to himself, summoning a blanket for your sleeping form. Did you sleptwalked your way here and rest there? You quaint creature. An old fairy is working hard, carrying you up with his magic back to your bed. With a wistful smile, he tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear and kisses your forehead. That kiss contained a spell of sweet dreams and a well-rested body.

Silver didn’t notice anything amiss when he woke up from his afternoon nap. He yawns, stretching his aching muscles and gets ready for his remedial classes. It doesn’t take him long to notice you sprawled by his bed in a fetal position. What were you doing there in the first place? He grumbles to himself, hefting you up to the bed and tucking you in. Silver doesn’t want to know what made you sleep like that, but he wants you to sleep in a comfortable position. You look so peaceful just sleeping comfortable with bedsheets wrapped around you..

Sebek just gives the loudest gasp once he sees you sleeping in the cafeteria, books and paper surrounding you like a shield from reality. How in the world are you sleeping so comfortably in that position? Unacceptable! He’ll carry you with his strong arms and take you to a proper room where you’d be sleeping on a bed with blankets. Once he sees you laying on that bed, a smile of satisfaction creeps his lips. Perfect - now, you’re in a comfortable position while you’re sleeping.

Azul never thought he’d find you sleeping in his pot of shame. Why would you be in there out of all these places? He releases a sigh of anguish, retrieving the twins to get you out of there. Thankfully, they were able to get you out of the pot while you were still asleep. The octopus would question you for a brief moment on your choice of location when you’re sleeping.. Yet, perhaps you have a habit for sleepwalking or just moving about in your sleep. Considering this situation, Azul would concoct a potion to help you with this particular issue.

“Hmmm, why is Shrimp-chan sleeping like that?” Floyd yawns to himself. Why would you be sleeping man-spread on a sofa across the bed? Weren’t you just sleeping on the bed wrapped in his arms last night? Huh~ He’ll just carry you back to bed and let you rest. You look so adorable sleeping like that~

Jade thought you were just fooling around when he sees you laying in a very suggestive way on the conch. He approaches you, only to see you asleep, a cherubic expression listing on your face. You must be very tired to be sleeping in a place like this? An affectionate smile graces his lips as he watches your chest rise and fall. With the help of his fellow twin, they place you on a more comfortable bed with plushies and blankets to sleep in. “Sleep well,” Jade whispers in your ear, placing a kiss on your forehead.

CAN I JUST, LIKE SHARE SOMETHING - okay, since NRC is an all boys school and bc of that all of the boys just kind of assume MC is a dude too right?? MC just wears hoodies and oversized clothing in general! Well, one day while cleaning the Heartslabyul gardens, MC takes off her shirt and is left in a tank top, and the school proceeds to have a crisis, the staff to bc AAAA SHOULDERS - 😂😂😂😂😂

mc shows a glimpse of skin and the entire school shuts down like it's a national emergency!!!! students from each and every dorm come to see you, keeping you from getting any actual work done, and Riddle almost overblots in a fit of rage.

You're here to clean the gardens and Riddle won't stand for any dilly-dallying. He tries to maintain a semblance of order as the other Heartslabyul students crowd around you, but you suspect it's more out of jealousy than an actual sense of duty. Ace pinches your shoulder and teases you for being 'shameless' with all that skin out, but despite his sarcastic remarks, his ruby eyes remain glued to the pleasant line of your upper body. Deuce tries to protect you, bless his heart, but his face glows an iridescent red as he gently pulls you away from Ace, his hand lingering on your back.

Cater is already taking pictures of you and uploading them on MagiCam. The close-up of your pretty shoulders gets a thousand likes a minute… and Cater promptly makes the post private, simmering in quiet irritation as he finds himself being possessive of a girl for the first time. Trey tries to get the first years to leave you alone… and then promptly uses his senpai status to lead you away from the others and enjoy a few moments alone with you as you two continue to clean the gardens. You completely miss the way he gazes at your sweaty skin with clouded eyes whenever you turn your back to him.

Che'nya materializes behind you and steals kisses on your shoulders from time to time. He disappears immediately after with a chuckle so no one can stop him. Ace tries to smack him with a broom but misses every time.

You're wearing a tank top? Savanaclaw can smell your scent from a mile away. You somehow find yourself sandwiched between Jack and Leona, Jack's nose bumping against your shoulder while Leona's brushes against your neck. Ruggie swoops in to save you, pulling you away as he half-assedly scolds the other two. You don't notice how his thumb brushes over your pulse point, marking you with his scent, nor the way the air seems to spark with tension between the four of you when Ruggie keeps his hands firmly on your bare shoulders.

Azul clears his throat and tries to pretend he's not affected. He's very affected. He tries to romantically caress your shoulder but he's immediately cockblocked by Floyd and Jade. The twins hover around you like two skyscrapers and actively distract you from cleaning, poking and prodding at your exposed skin like they've never seen a clavicle before. Floyd attempts to take a bite but Jade pushes his face away before he can chomp down on you.

Jamil should be used to seeing exposed skin since his country's fashion is light and breezy, but he takes one (1) glance at you and flushes. He hides his face under his hood, but he steals glances when he thinks you're not looking. Kalim just waltzes up to you and wraps an arm around your shoulders, grinning from ear to ear as he offers to help you with your chores. You don't think much of it. It's just Kalim being a sweetheart. But the way he holds you flush against his body and looks down at you with mischief in his eyes tells you he may not be as pure as you think...

What is this, a zoo? Vil clicks his tongue and swats away the greedy hands that reach for your body. He's known you were a girl this entire time, of course, and he won't stand to have your blossoming beauty tarnished by a bunch of unruly monkeys. He casually offers to wipe the sweat off your shoulders… and then smoothly moves to dry off your cleavage too, lingering a bit too long with his fingers and giving you a dazzling smirk when you blush.

You hear Rook gleefully singing your praises all the way across the garden, his words getting sweeter and sweeter the closer he gets to you. You're all sweaty and flushed with exhaustion and yet here he is, following you around with a happy smile on his face and roses blooming around him as he waxes poetry like you're Helen of Troy. Epel is about to have a mental breakdown. He has to pretend to be all princely and polite because Vil is here, but he's seconds away from beating the shit out of Ace and Floyd with his metal dustpan. He remains glued to your side and drapes himself over you, bristling like a feral cat whenever someone tries to touch you.

Idia praises and curses the gods in the same breath. He should have stayed in his room!!! … But then he would have missed out on this premium moe content of his favorite character, (y/n)—! Maybe going out into the real world from time to time is not so bad?! He squats down and brings his hands to his head as he has a mini panic attack. If you and your bare shoulders get too close to him, he will pass out.

The only good thing about having Diasomnia's attention on you is that whenever they take a step towards you, everyone else takes four steps back. Malleus sighs and lets you stand next to him under his mantle, keeping a hand on the small of your back. His gaze is dark and intense as it flickers between your neck and your shoulders. You think he might be slightly flustered at the sight of your skin. Lilia is usually an old fashioned gentleman with you, so it catches you completely off guard when he sneaks up behind you and gives your neck a little love bite. It doesn't hurt. He just... rests his fangs on your skin for a second and your heart nearly jumps out of you. He cheekily licks your sweat off his lips and grins as he tells you to be more aware of your surroundings.

Sebek refuses to look at you, covering his mouth with a hand as his cheeks glow a light shade of pink. He stubbornly keeps his eyes on the half-painted rose bushes as he pretty much orders you to hide your half-naked self behind him. You're… most definitely not half-naked, but you know Sebek is just trying to protect you in his own awkward way, so you go along with it for a bit. Silver looks like the perfect knight in shining armor as he stands next to you, keeping the others away with a steely glare, a hand resting on his baton. You actually manage to finish your chores under his watchful gaze, and relish in the way his cheeks flush a little when you smile and thank him. He reaches up to brush your hair off your sweaty shoulders, his eyes burning into yours with unspoken longing.

At the end of your chaotic day, Crewel places his fluffy coat on your small frame and reminds you to be careful around men. You don't see the smirk he sends Crowley over your shoulder, nor the way the headmaster fumes at being beaten to the punch. It's his coat you should be wearing! He places his top hat on you instead, and starts brooding very dramatically whenever you attempt to take it off.

…

You sigh and keep Crowley's hat on for the rest of the evening.

speaking of incredibly self-indulgent posts that no one but me enjoys

I swear I’m not obsessed with the diasomnias, I’m just…so into the whole dynamic of these two ridiculous fae dorks who adopted and raised a human child, and now for ill-explained Plot Reasons they all have to attend high school together (and also Sebek is there). how dare this be only 1/7th of the actual game and not a full eight-season anime that I can watch right now. >:(

anyway there were probably lots of baby shenanigans while Silver was growing up, huh
