"The Omni-Synthesizer of Auto-Harmonic Resonance" is my newest kinetic art piece.   AK-47 Art  (Xela Donnovan)

Here's a bit about the process: I fashioned this by drilling, wood-burning, and hot gluing various pieces and parts to one of my old guitars.  The copper wire, for example, is only clear flexible rubber tubing that I painted then stuck on to gold connectors attached via screw driver.  This project took approx. 40 hrs and I'm glad I did as many plans as I did.  I'm really happy that it came out how I hoped.

P.S. Ace con 2014 (yesterday) was a blast and a huge success! So glad I got to be a part of the snk panel as Jean Kirstein.  Also glad that I was able to have an artist alley table and sell my prints!  Thank you to all who came by and bought things or just said hi ^-^

Zombie Apocalypse:

Scanned in from my current sketchbook, my task was to take the famous picture and turn it into the zombols apocalypse.  "The coach had blown his whistle just as 33's, the star football player, life ended. His brown irises faded to pale gray, hunger overtook all other humanly drives, his teammates -the ones still alive- ran, and the sound of a whistle blaring to his right was so loud. The coach couldn't have said what happened first, the air ceasing to blow through his whistle or 33 reaching the grass where he stood, and the events to follow were even more chaotic. His flesh was ripped and a blood trail soaked the ground beneath his feet as he ran. 33 was gaining on him. Maybe some of the strength he had before death still clung to his large reanimated corpse. Suddenly a white hot flash hit him and his stomach was, well, not there. He risked a look down and was horrified to see organs dangling in a disgusting attempt to flee his body. With one hand he held himself together. That's when a strong, flat hand reached for his shoulder. He tried speeding his pace but his collapsing stomach opposed increased movement. The hand continued to lunge for his back and, unfortunately sooner than later, it grasped his shoulder. The star football player, 33, growled with blocked lungs. He knew it was over now."  [no stealing]

Miss Umbrella:

Steampunk drawing, later i cut out her from the sketchbook and attached that to a similarly cut piece of cardboard. Then attached that to the painting -previously painted with drips of coffee running down- and finished.  [no stealing]
