Injector cleaner: fuel system additives

As a rule, the increase in fuel consumption, difficult start-up, as well as the deterioration of the engine injectivity in many cases occurs due to the fact that the injector of the injector engine gradually become clogged. If the car is on gasoline, in such a situation, the auto service workers will definitely offer to remove the injectors, after which they will be installed on the stand to check the nozzles of gasoline engines. Why the engine and fuel system are contaminated and how to remove deposits To begin with, during the operation of the power unit, various deposits accumulate over time on internal surfaces. The combustion chamber is gradually covered with soot and coked as a result of inadequate combustion of fuel and engine oil entering there. As for the intake, deposits are formed on the walls of the intake channels, on the valve plates , etc. In the fuel system, the injectors are subject to the most severe contamination, and the result of disruption to their work are problems with mixing.

Given these differences, the approach for the removal of certain deposits is different. In the power supply system, the lacquer must be dissolved, while in the combustion chamber the carbon and coke are removed by burning off the “base”, due to which the deposits are kept on the surfaces.

In our case, the most common ones were selected for verification: Suprotec, Liqui Moly and Hi-Gear. Also, their action was compared with the so-called "washing" gasoline. To obtain   reliable results and to evaluate the effectiveness of the operation of additives and gasoline with cleaning additives, we used bench engines in which pollution was realized. For the formation of such pollution in the internal combustion engine previously burned conventional gasoline and mineral oil .
