One of my favourite things about Watson in Granada Holmes is that he has a little hobby he indulges in (aside from observing Holmes under the microscope and documenting his findings for the world to see), namely building model ships! He does it in the Resident Patient, I think, and like??? Thats so wholesome?? And then also Mrs Hudson being supportive of his arts and crafts, like: "Your little ship is looking so great already, Dr Watson!" It's adorable okay? I love me a Watson who has fun little hobbies like this

Something I noticed recently is that while Holmes regularly refers to Watson as “my dear Watson” or some variation of that, Watson almost exclusively saves “my dear Holmes” for disbelief when Holmes has done something batshit insane.

It’s the equivalent of your mother calling your full name.

An idea I have floating around in my head is while on the mushroom planet, Robotnik starts writing letters in the multitude of languages he knows as a way to like keep his mind sharp, at the start its just random thoughts and plans on how he intends to destroy the hedgehog, but it eventually shift to being addressed to Stone.

He keeps the habit up during his recovery in the crab and while he'll never admit it, the letters do start to get more personal as they go on. Robotnik makes sure he's writing in languages that Stone doesn't know so if said man ever inquiries about the writings he can just brush it off as "fine motor skill therapy" or whatever.

Robotnik kept all his letters to Stone in a chest he kept hidden away in a wall of the crab.

And yeah then Stone spends like 5 ever translating the hundreds of letters and slowly breaks down as he does

Imagine a Sherlock Holmes adaptation where he has to deal with kids at a social event or something and all the other adults are shocked that he's so good with them bc he's so weird and awkward with adults, they assumed he'd be way worse with kids! And Watson is like "Oh no, he's great with kids. It's actually kind of scary how good he is with them. He commands an army of feral children who would do anything for him. That's not hyperbole, he quite literally commands an informal militia of street urchins and I'm pretty sure they would actually kill a man if he asked them to."
