                    SHE  was beauty  &  grace ;     yet wholly chaos            INCARNATE.  fingers  resumed  their position,   levitating            a cab in the atmosphere,  for the sake of the unsuspecting            girl,  ALMOST  slamming against her  doom.  

         ❛❛        WOAH. That was so CLOSE.   ❜❜  

                              She breathes in, looking back. She  is  so,  so  sure  she                               would have DIED, if it weren’t for her. Anna turns around                               smiles nervously, &   steps   away   from   where   she’s                               absolutely sure the cab would land on.

                         It was so long ago that she was surprised she even REMEMBERED.

           The night casted a blanket of darkness over the  castle.  She  was  young,  then ---- maybe           four or five. Still, Anna was prone to nightmares ; & nothing scared  her  more           than the DARK & the  CREATURES  that lurk within its center.  Little  hands  clutched  the           blanket as she peered over the bed where her parents lie, fast asleep & kissed by the light           of the moon.  The  Queen  moved  slightly,  &  Anna,  SCARED  but  BRAVE  in  the  night           remained quiet & motionless. She breathes in, & calls once more ------

                                ❛❛        Mama? It’s Anna...are you awake?      ❜❜  

         A moan, a yawn, Anna draws back for the first time, cowering at the sight of her own mother    who could be a GOBLIN in disguise, or a WITCH assuming the identity of the queen, or --- or ----

                     “ Anna? Darling, it’s very late. Why are you awake at this hour? ”

          Hearing that voice was all she needed, & Anna hauled herself up the bed & threw her arms         at her mother, curling up against her frame. She nearly cried out of relief.

                   “ Did you have nightmares again? “

          Anna nodded, & clutched at her mother’s night gown.

                  “ You can sleep here tonight. Right here ---- right between mama & papa, okay? “

          God...that moment felt like it happened a forever ago.

                                         Anna misses them. She misses them everyday.
