the "xegulus just autocorrects to that one gay marauders ship" is so real because i used to search it up and would get j*gulus content instead 💔💔 might block the j*gulus tag at this point. nothing against it I just get a tad bit annoyed when I see it because of the autocorrect. but I digress

i don't think it's the ships fault in general but tiktoks algorithm is just. horrible, if you scroll too far you just get irrelevant searches and it gets annoying when you're trying to look for anything specific like characters or ships

that said i don't think the muting tags feature is good either, i still get content about ships i blocked at the search bar.. i have to block the person themself so it doesn't pop up anymore sigh

i'm (probably) the one who coined the term xgulus and while i do agree regulux or xegulus sounds better, the reason why i chose xgulus is so fans can easily access content of the ship, because on google regulux autocorrects to regulus so you just see regulus content, and xegulus autocorrects to either regulus again or that one gay marauders ship.. and even now i still see that ship when i'm looking for xgulus content on tiktok

tldr; they're called xgulus so fans can actually find content of the ship without struggling, especially since it's still considered a rarepair in global ;;

I wholeheartedly believe that Regulus and X's ship name should've been Regulux than Xgulus. The former rolls off the tongue better, sounds seamless, and makes their individual names recognizable to those who know them.

In fact, it doesn't need to be a portmanteau of their names. We can go the whole OMORI route and name them like they did with "Suntan" or "Sunflower". The first ship names to come to mind are RadioMachine, GoldbergRock, Disconcert Heart (a mix of their ultimate names), GoldenRecords, and MinMax Rave.

But what are your thoughts? Do you have other ship name ideas for Regulus and X or other ships?

tbh everyone's trying to be supportive of their relationship but they just cause ruckus everywhere they go, these two r enabling eachothers chaos. even APPle became a victim of this when x asked him to try out his new machine and he was catapulted high up in the air, regulus managed to catch him just in time but it still traumatized him, poor APPle

I love the red/blue dynamic between characters. Their friendships (or romances 👀) are so chaotic and beautiful.
