Ixora had been the one to ask the goth to prom. From the time she had known him, she couldn’t help but notice just how passive he could be in his approach and how much of a nervous wreck he could be.

She thought she was shy, but he beat her by a mile.

If she wanted this relationship to take a step forward, she knew she would have to step out of her shell and be the first to make a move.

And she did.

She hadn’t been happier that night. It was the most fun she had has in the past few years.

They weren’t exactly the best dancers. They tripped and barely caught each other in time. But laughter and joy undeniably existed within the time they spent together.
