Finally get the cover printed today!!!! released~~ feel so good. And today when I jumped into a lift a technician asked me why you keep smiling, I said,’Oh, I dont know that, maybe because I finally find the meterial I wanted after I searching for it for more than three days and nearly miss the deadline of printing it’. HAhaha I feel so proud of my self that I found the meterial same from a picture book I really like. good luck and feel greatful.

yesterday:
fig1-2, the first test on bookcloth yesterday, I quite like the texture, but the color of the cloth is too creamy and the color changed a lot(doesnt match the inner pages), I feel upset and need to use plan B to make a color block to instead of this cover or maybe I can go the shepherd to have a look. I still wanna try.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
today:
fig3, shepherd paper sample boxes
fig4, I found the paper specificly designed for inkjet!!! that’s what I wanted
fig5,6. the paper and bookcloth I choose
fig7,8.measure the size of my book and cutted them to prepare for test
fig9,10.different test I did for finding out the best set for my cover
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to the Shepherd near Victorial Station this morning, they have so many kinds of paper that make me feel I went into a paper paradise! Every porfolio have different paper with different color and texture. And because my cover is too big that need to print by the inkjet printer, and the technician told me I should find some paper or cloth specificly designed for inkjet, fortunatelly I found a box of paper sample that designed for this machine. I bought some paper for my cover and some for my book jacket and ran back to uni quickly before they closed the workshop, and I went to the bookart workshop to cut and measure the size, took small pieces to go G2 darkroom to do the test.
Those are my different test set for my cover. I finally find the right color and let’s finish it!

Important information:
fig1. bookart workshop acess time
fig2.the price of inkjet, I’d better manage my images in one sheet well and test it before the real one goes through, just make sure it works on my final prints.
fig3. I met a girl who brought some well quality paper from this shop and I talked with her and she gave my the address .
fig4.the important thing we need to prepare before print, I didnt see it when I book my revertation, and they dont let me print that day, I print nothing the whole day and feel sooooo upset!!! So this is really important.
fig5-8. some good paper I chose.
fig9-10. the bookcloth I chose from the bookart workshop and will go the darkroom to test it someday

4. I pick the one I like best and printed the inner pages next day( use my firend’s reservation, feel luck coz it was fully booked )
5.binding them in the printing finishing workshop. the first time to learn a new technique, fortunately it is easy. just glue it for 9 times.
I searched the meterials for my books for days. it is so difficult.
