To all restaurants: you need an online presence OTHER THAN Facebook. Like, something people can access without any account or login at all.
Also, that online presence should just show your menu. Not a PDF download, simply your menu, directly, no need to start an online ordering process.
I remain amazed how many ways, in 2022, places can fuck this up.

Years and years ago in the days of The Old Internet, there was a series of animated shorts on the Disney website which were minute-long summaries of classic literature, Les Miserables and Don Quixote and Cyrano de Bergerac.
And to this day I have no idea who the audience for these videos was supposed to be. Except for me because I loved them and watched them constantly and I was heartbroken when they were taken off the website.
This is all to say that I just found out that they were all uploaded to YouTube while I wasn’t looking, and now that it’s the Ides of March I’m legally contracted to share this now.

What’s going to make you happy right now? Is it some cake? Is it a nap? Is it calling your mom? Is it going on a drive and blasting music? Is it taking a bath? Is it reading a book?
Check in with yourself because you deserve that happiness, whatever it is.

From Vincent Price's radio show, "The Saint" circa 1950. This man is a true legend. I adore him.
Ladies and gentlemen, poison doesn’t always come in bottles. And it isn’t always marked with the skull and crossbones of danger. Poison can take the form of words and phrases and acts: the venom of racial and religious hatred. Here in the United States, perhaps more than ever before, we must learn to recognize the poison of prejudice and to discover the antidote to its dangerous effects. Evidences of racial and religious hatred in our country place a potent weapon in the hands of our enemies, providing them with the ammunition of criticism. Moreover, group hatred menaces the entire fabric of democratic life. As for the antidote: you can fight prejudice, first by recognizing it for what it is, and second by actively accepting or rejecting people on their individual worth, and by speaking up against prejudice and for understanding. Remember, freedom and prejudice can’t exist side by side. If you choose freedom, fight prejudice.
