Some designs for a Sonic AU I’ve been dabbling with. I’m debating turning it into an ask blog but I’m not really sure if the ask blog scene is even still around, so we’ll have to see on that front.

There’s a very barebones plot so far but the main theme seems to be different iterations of technology. Silver represents tv while Mephiles represents radio. I thought it would be funny if Silver’s eyes remained closed 90% of the time since, you know, watching tv is usually a visual activity. He isn’t blind but chooses to keep his eyes closed anyway.

I’ve come up with a few ideas for implementing Sonic and Shadow as well, though my idea for Sonic is currently bouncing between computers or just the internet as a whole. I considered having Shadow be the abstract concept of A.I. but I’m not sure if that fits very well with this whole AU. I’m still trying to iron it all out.

In the off chance I do end up making something with this AU, it’ll probably focus almost solely on Silver and his struggle with the tv going out of fashion. Despite also drawing Mephiles, I don’t think he’d show up too often seeing as one of the only things I do have figured out is that he and Silver had a rough falling out and don’t speak anymore. Silver doesn’t really have a good relationship with anyone at the moment.

I guess we’ll just have to see how that goes in the future.

The final piece of the trio has been complete, huzzah. Design wise her outfit didn’t change but I think she still probably had the best glow up.

AO3 won’t let you upload images directly so I had to compromise. This is for an old fic of mine that I’m bringing back, of which Anon, Gumi, and Cul move to an island and write letters to their individual families about their life there. It’s a slow burn poly romance with a bit of angst thanks to Cul being a literal depressed clown.

The only other art I’ll probably post here are the other two updates pieces.
