i love the motherly/parental type of characterisation with Bucciarati as much of the next guy, and the troupe of him taking care of the rest of the gang is amazing, but i feel like when people use this they forget the aspect of this man being 20 years old and emotionally unstable

i hc that bucciarati learned how to fight from vhs tapes he found at the library (like those 80s dance videos but self defense themed) and so in between the time his dad was attacked and the time he killed the druggies 12yo bruno was jumping around his house accidentally breaking lamps and vases while what was essentially a 90s version of how to be ninja played in the background
