this scene. Genuienly broke me. Ohhh the way arin fell into sora's arms. at that exact moment sora was arin's only family left. he thought he had no one else, he thought his parents were well & truly gone now. in this moment all they had was eachother.

and. just the way he. Drops to his knees. the reality of the situation quite Literally came crashing down on him. he genuienly thought they were never coming back. "you once told me 'change can be scary'. I'm scared, sora." god. God. Ohmyogof. maybe at that moment he remembered being that scared little kid again right after the merge, except he had no hope of his parents coming back to hold onto anymore.

First off, within like, the first two episodes, they had mentioned the Oni, but they really haven’t said anything about it since then. Then, in the season 3 part 2 arc dragon battle, I feel like they intentionally gave Lloyd the purple eyes instead of the gold. He’s no stranger to purple eyes, but last time was in a far more sinister context.

they’re either gonna actually make the Oni a relevant plot point again or they’re gonna leave us soooo high and dry about it ToT
