What do you think of princess herself personally?

You mean the shifting mound, the neutral princess you first meet, any specific route…?

Because either way, I love her so much. There’s only really one route I don’t like all that much, and even that one has lots of interesting stuff in it, and all the facets of the princess are so fascinating and worth of several analysis posts on their own.

And I’m in love with our first encounter with the shifting mound– after whatever route we’ve been through, she’s there– speaking so softly and gently, holding whatever vessel she got so kindly, and treating us with the same kindness. And that line– “Why wouldn’t I be kind to you? You’re the only thing I know that isn’t me.” –THAT LINE. To me, it tells us exactly how Shifty, and the Princess, as a whole, functions. No matter what the two of you go through, no matter the horrors you see, no matter how much you hurt each other, by the end of it, she’ll always be kind to you, because you the only other thing there besides her.
