Personal Statement:

“Sweetie, I’m sorry but I have been having kidney problems and I’m on so much medication that makes me sleep all day and I did not want to tell you because I knew it would make you upset,” he said with tears rolling down his eyes. When my father breathed these words to me, my heart shattered and I felt the waterworks coming on. The guilt began to eat me alive. How could I think all these horrible things about my father knowing that he’s always been there for me?

Tracy Robinson and Michelle Lawrence. Two names that mean the absolute world to me and I never knew how much they meant until that one day my father disappeared for weeks. My parents cherish me, guide me and always have my best interest at heart. They built the human being that I am today and I will forever thank them for that.
